My son Sandeep Gupta expired on 10th Feb 2011. He had 2 insurance policies with ICICI Prudential and Max New York Life. I am 64 years and an Arthritis patient. I have been running from pillar to post to submit my Claim papers. The Service Helpdesk personnel outright rejected any help and asked me to visit the branch.My agent and the executive who was servicing the policy was not reachable. Finally, I had to personally visit the branch at JP Nagar and complete the documentation.
After vigorous follow up with the Head office on Toll free and STD calls, I somehow satisfied all the investigations of the company and finally they agreed to settle my claim on a condition.
The company is settling my claim on conditions not acceptable to me. They claim that the Nominee in the said insurance policy is not changed after the death of the original nominee even after I have provided enough evidence to prove that the Nominee change form was given but was not done due to lapse on their back office.
