We were on our way to office today on bike when near Gunjan theatre, this auto rikshaw driver (MH12 CT4295) who was standing on sidelines, came on road without any kind of indicators or signals. I had to apply breaks immediately and bike skidded. We both fell on road and sufferred some inuries. To top that, auto driver comes out, looks at his rikshaw and says 'achcha hua rikshaw ko nahi laga' (Thank god, we didn't hit his auto rikshaw???). That's the kind of attitude this guy had. When asked about indicator, he said that this is not a turn so no need to show indicator even if he is coming on road from sideline. It could have been a costly thing for both o[censored]s if there was any heavy vehicle behind us. Does our RTO really gives licence to such people?? Anyway, there are at least 4-5 traffic police on Gunjar signal which was less thatn 50 Mtrs. ahead and none of them took effort to see what happened. Was this information helpful? |
