Individual — Over charging
Why do Mumbai grocery stores charge Rs. 1 over and above MRP of cold drinks or Milk packets? Are we supposed to lie back and accept this stupid demand of theirs? Isn't there a regulation that no once can charge above MRP of any product? I live in Thakur Village Kandivali East. I buy a milk packet (toned) everyday either Amul or Motherdairy. It has MRP Rs.19 mentioned on the packet. I have to pay daily Rs. 20 to the grocery store or any other milk vendor in the vicinity. I have checked with others in neighbourhood, they too are paying one rupee extra on such commodities. This is something prevalent in this city for many years (i have been noticing this for last 10 years). Can't you guys do anything about it
