I have applied for the new MTNL broadnand connection before three month and I submitted 1500rs to the employee of MTNL name-Mr.Mukesh Kumar([protected]).But there is no response from your side.When i am asking about to refund my money they refuse to refung I also call Mr. V.K Agarwal([protected]) but there is no reponse from his side.So please refund my money as soon as possible.

    I have a broadband connection from mtnl no. 22786062. My connection has not been working properly since last 12 days even at present the problem is yet to be rectified How can a company ask for bill for the period the service was not working, this is so because in our country only companies have right to loot people they can charge extra amount on account of late payment but customer is a fool he cannot charge anything or do anything if he did not get any service and is still getting the bill because in our country only companies like MTNL have rights what can a customer do, will not approach the court for getting the service or getting the bill for time services were not working or penalizing the company for default in services. Working of agencies such as TRAI is hard to understand what do they do only other than maintaining their staff and distributing their salaries. I have yet to hear any instance where such erring company as MTNL was penalized by TRAI for such ignorant behavior with a customer because may be individual customers are not important but they do not understand that these individual only form the large group. Why is that only company as MTNL has rights it can penalize you if you make late payment and you can do nothing if you suffered default in service although you might have suffered financial loss & mental disturbance because of the same. Why aren’t there equal rights for company and consumer? It is so much biased in favor of these looters as MTNL. A company can penalize the customer at will in case of default but if you are a customer the process involves approaching the court then proving the default in court and then only you might get some relief if you are able to prove the default. Request the authorities please give some rights to customers also.

      1. 10 MBPS advertised getting maximum speed of only 1.3 MBPS. 2. The downtime is extraordinary, since installation on June 19, 2013, the connection has been offline most of the time. Currently, it has been offline since the past 2 weeks from August 6, 2013. I get "concentrator not reachable" error. 3. In spite of many complains, the bandwidth has not improved and though the connection has not been working for more than 30+ days since June 19, 2013, we have been presented with a bill for Rs. 630, which we have paid hoping that MTNL would attend to my innumerable complains on the downtime and bandwidth speed. 4. Complains have been lodged on 1505, MTNL website, emails to the following ID's, [protected]@mtnl.net.in, helpdesk.[protected]@mtnl.net.in, [protected]@mtnl.net.in, [protected]@mtnl.net.in, [protected]@mtnl.net.in, [protected]@mtnl.net.in, but no one even bothered to reply nor attended the complain. Please advise on the action.

            This is regards to my MTNL connection. I think this people are not serious as being Government servant not bothered about there job as it is guaranteed they will not loose, but it is affecting Indian economy as they loose each and every customers.I have to inform MTNL higher authority. For your information your engineers say there is no junction box, cable in our area, for your knowledge Im attaching photographs of junction box, connections and cable available in our area. Our Society has already informed last year June 2012 in writing and after that two reminders had already been given. Also to inform you that when I personally met MTNL staff MTNL people are fooling there is no cable and no junction box. For your information reference no w/o 5396 dated 14/6/2013 Tel No. 28406888.

              I am Dr. Chaturvedi Ramesh Mahanand, Add. B/37, Sneh CHS Bldg no. 12, Jankalyan Nagar, Off Marve Rd Kharodi, Malad West.
              I applied for the FTTH connection from MTNL on 7th June 2013. The wiring was done and modem was installed in last week of July. The internet connection was started around 31st July 2013.
              Mr. Shukla from MTNL was contacted regarding the same and was facilitating the activation of connection.
              On 7th August 2013, the internet connection went out of order i.e. the internet light is not present on the ADSL modem. I tried to register the complaint on the call centre nos provided on the website however it was told that their is no data in this regard in their database.
              I am only having the demand note cum receipt (attached herewith) in my possession as a proof of connection. I am also not communicated about my telephone no. on which this internet connection is registered. I have informed Mr. Shukla about this.
              Disruption of internet services and inability to lodge complaint has led to a lot of mental agony especially so because I believed MTNL to be a transparent and very good organization.
              Please look in to the matter and activate my connection. Also in principal I should not be charged for the days I have not had internet connection.

                It is been more then 3 months that i have not recieved any bill from MTNL.

                Even I am not sure for billing cycle. I don't know how to get this sorted out since there is no one to sort this out.

                        We have MTNL Broadband connection provided by some third party PRIDE.
                        The connection is broken / down most of the time, but bill comes on time and if delayed they charge fine.

                        The amount of work loss that we face is huge compared with downtime (not just a day or two but a week???)

                        Not sure how much this site helps in this issue, but really it is very pathetic service that MTNL is providing.

                        If this doesn't work then I will have to seek court as I have suffered and MTNL will have to pay for it.

                          I am a lawyer by profession and has been practicing at various courts in Delhi. I have to work from home thereore, i had got installed MTNLs broadband services. however my internet is not working for last 15 days. the local lineman of my area visits on my complaints and temporarily fixes the connection, but it again gets disconnected.this process has been going on for last 15 days.
                          I have been informed by him that the telephone wire has been damaged and also has 6-7 joints, therefore needs to be changed. however there is no wire in the stock. he has even suggested me to get wire on my own and he will fix it after taking some money from me.
                          today since morning I have not gone to court and am trying to complaint on the telephone about the problem. I have spoken to 2-3 officials , even my area manager Mr. Anil Gupta but all my complaints have been in vain. Everyone gives a new number to me and suggests me to speak to someone or the other as they cant do anything.

                              This review is for MTNL Idgah Exchange , where i visited to get my Phone services disconnected as they were not up to the mark for past 4 months. Despite numerous reminders, when i got nowhere, i decided enough was enough.

                              I took with me all the MTNL equipment and a handwritten application for service disconnection request. I reached MTNL Idgah on[protected] at 10:00 am and the Sanchar Haat hall was empty, i was asked to go to Desk 5, where a long list of must-do's awaited me for disconnection rules. I was given an application form and told to bring the registration slip issued 3 years back at the time of taking services, a pan card for signature verification and come between 3 and 5.

                              Its not that i see them working. They are sitting doing nothing.With no choice, i left MTNL for my office and got an Affidavit made for loss of registration slip for Rs, 100/-. I got my PAN card copy and took an early leave from office to reach MTNL Idhag at 3:20pm. After showing the documents at Sancaar haat desk 5 , i was issued a pass from next desk for Room 302 in the adjacent building where the process was to start.

                              At 302 i was told to get documents signed from someone at Room 101. I waited patiently as i observed a slower than dead MTNL officer in 101 who was attending to someone who came ahead of me. It took him 10 mins to punch on his computer 2 phone numbers. By the time it was my turn, he opened his tiffin for lunch. It was 3:35pm! When i asked him for signatures, he was quite rude and told me that it was not his area and sent me to find someone in room 110. From there i went to 112, where the Divisional officer told me to go to 301 to get signatures, as without those, he won't sign.

                              At 301, i met a decent chap, and i told him that i was totally frustrated with running around, so instead of making me run, he should sign and help me. He could sense my discomfort and signed, and asked me to attach the latest bill - payed copy, as otherwise it won't be processed. I went again to sanchaar haat for latest bill, only to be told that cash counter is closed! It was 4:00pm! The only window open was for cheques- and i thanked my luck that i had my checkbook with me. I made the cheque and submitted it.

                              Sweating and huffing, i went back to 112, only to be told by the Divisional Officer that he can't accept my application as it states- services not up to the mark! Mr. Divisional Officer told me to take another form and write anything except that, else he won't sign it. He was sitting with 2 fellow gossipers and told me that getting the phone working was his job and he will get it working. I told him, i was through with his services and do not want MTNL anymore. He told me he can do nothing in that case. I told him that if he does not sign on my application - as its my valid right to choose as a customer - i will escalate the matter to higher authorities, to which he said - "go ahead".

                              This DO - told his gossipers in front of me that SDM, was particular about customer reasons for disconnect and this form was not appropriate to be sent to his office! This Government Official was just worried about his hind. Delivering services was not his concern. So long till the seniors did not get to know, was all on his mind. He next called the gentleman who had last signed my application and told him rudely that he should have read my application before signing and he should now be charge sheeted for this action. It happened in front of me.

                              Never before i had seen such nautanki at such close range. I wanted to give him a punch on his face. Instead, I gave him a few verbal slaps. He was so gutless that he refused to give me his name of allow him to take his pic. Later i got to know that the person is on leave and currently person occupying his chair is Mr........ ! MTNL sure knows how to find professionals for its high posts! They have the guts to refuse a customer if he is unhappy with services and chooses to disconnect?? What is this ?? British Era? This Divisional Officer seemed straight out of the ZOO!

                              Angry and Frustrated, i came back to sanchar haat, where i was told to visit Room 202 where there is an IAS officer, young and efficient and it was the only place where work gets done. By this time i was totally worn. my 4th time back inside and 6 time going up and down made me realize a fact - This country is Hell. Its not just politicians, the administration is also pathetic. Such inefficient people gobbling up public money as salaries for doing nothing. All the rules for customers, none for them!

                              At 202, it was a different environment. Clean office for a change. I sat down and told the officer's PAs all the issue, who called Mr........and sent a peon with my papers and got them signed in 2 minutes. Mr. Divisional Officer had added comments that he had tried his best to "Convince" me but i did not relent! Thanking them, i next went to 302 from where i had started and got a hand written note for store in-charge, for return of equipment.

                              To basement i went worried that its almost 5 and who works here this long, submitted the equipment and met 4 very humble and genuine MTNL workers, who listened to my ordeal and offered me some tea. I forgot all the issues and thanked them for being so humane. In course of discussion they told me quite frankly that it was officers like .......responsible for MTNL being in the state it is today. I was now given a serial number for return of equipment.

                              Again back at Sanchar Hat counter 5, i showed the documents and serial number of equipment return and got my account updated by the MTNL officer in charge. It was 5 pm and i could see just 2 people on the counters. No wonder we are where we are. My experience with MTNL was nothing short of sheer harassment. I have never seen such shoddy management and such callous working. While people like us work hard to earn, laggards like Mr..........run down the whole organization like a cattle farm.

                              Without mincing my words, i say such MTNL officers should be fired. They earn their pay because o[censored]S customers which they fail to support in any way. It was an ordeal to get my connection terminated. If you are planning to get an MTNL connection, i humbly request you to think again before you do.

                              MTNL — pathetic service

                              Being major service provider of voice communication in india they lack in service delivery. Fault ticket 86338 booked on as on 10th July was closed without confirmation from any of the number mentioned below.
                              As usual service guy came to our house and without doing any troubleshooting said there is issue with conceal wiring which is absolutely incorrect. Below is track record of FT booked and remark of docket closure.

                                I had a conversation with MTNL customer care service that how to port from MTNL to other services provider. They told me to send a message "Port_Mobile no" to 1900. That time I didnt had enough balance in my sim. I Recharged my mobile with Rs. 10 and after that the full amount of recharge automatically deducted. I dont know the reason why this happened. After that I contacted MTNL Customer Care & Service Center. But they refused to inform me the reason why they deducted that amount. They just kept saying on every call that they'll revert back to us after getting the exact information how this happened. But they didnt called me back anytime.
                                So now I want my balance back to my mobile and a proper reason why they deducted my balance.

                                i had recharged Rs 223/- two times on 4.8.12 in my mtnl no.[protected] through credit card but this amount not credited in my mobile and debited from my credit card. txn no- 004401and order no.[protected]. so,please settle this claim.
                                Unwanted the balance is deducting from my sim card [protected] and I cal to customer care they r telling u have send a message and one message cost is 5 Rs. but i have not send any message and One message cost 5 Rs. these only wrong and making fool to people bt MTNL

                                  Internet Connection — delay of connection

                                  we given a request on 19nd of September 2011, our registered ticket no:3265906. for new 10mbps internet connection. they told us it going to to be connection on or before 12 October 2011. we facing a big problem due to internet, our children's eduction are depended on internet. nobody call why delay giving the connection, who is the responsible person in your organization or else you fellows do like this only, do you responsible or not.

                                    Sir i was applied for new internet connection in MTNL (Branch Sector-3) by online on 29 June, 2013 and MTNL guys came my home and collect the documents with rs.500 registration fees he said that connection will take in 3-4 days.
                                    But still i am waiting for connection. I was talk to MTNL customer care. he give me a another
                                    number, but number switching off in this time and then i was going in MTNL Branch Sector-3. he
