I had requested MTNL mumbai to change my DSL 495 combo plan to 999 Unlimited on 11th April 2011 the plan has been effective from 12th April 2011 but my speed is coming of 495 plan which is 40 kbps and it should come 1mbps for 999 unlimited which till date after giving 20 to 30 complain and regularly I am calling for there 20 -25 days they say there is problem with server it will be shortly solved or its the problem with exchange kindly donot call on holidays cause it is not working and may such reasons. Kindly help me with this cause the bill will be charged from 12th April for Rs.1000/- and 180 for phone but in combo pla it was 495 and they will charge me for new plan which is 999 and giving me speed for combo 495.

Now the Bill is charged and still I am getting 40 kbps speed and they have deducted 500 for security deposit which is already taken by them when I had taken thier services that was total 1500 ...now what more they need

After giving so many complains

Speed 999 unlimited plan 1mbps but download speed is 40kbps for Phone No [protected]

I had requested MTNL mumbai to change my DSL 495 combo plan to 999 Unlimited on 11th April 2011 the plan has been effective from 12th April 2011 but my speed is coming of 495 plan which is 40 kbps and it should come 1mbps for 999 unlimited which till date after giving 20 to 30 complain and regularly I am calling for there 20 -25 days they say there is problem with server it will be shortly solved or its the problem with exchange kindly donot call on holidays cause it is not working and may such reasons. Kindly help me with this cause the bill will be charged from 12th April for Rs.1000/- and 180 for phone but in combo pla it was 495 and they will charge me for new plan which is 999 and giving me speed for combo 495.


Now the Bill is charged Totaling Rs. 2000 and still I am getting 40 kbps speed and they have deducted 500 for security deposit which is already taken by them when I had taken thier services that was total 1500 ...now what more they need
All these dogs are the same! There's no difference between them.

We need international ISPs to enter the Indian market and teach these fools a lesson.

    In Rajouri Garden MIG Green Flats area, the Dolphin and Trump Customers are facing network problem since 4 months. We are unable to use our Dolphin or Trump mobiles in this area. Most of the times there is reply OUT OF COVERAGE AREA. If anytime call connects by luck then very soon it drops.
    There is no limit of time for SMS to reach. When we contact customer care they say that Rajouri Garden exchange is near and you should get good network but it’s not true. One customer care person had a different view said that manually select the network but to my amazement I couldn’t find MTNL network when searched manually. How funny.... They don’t believe and nothing has been done in 4 months to make it good. I have 2 connections of TRUMP and nobody able to contact us or we can’t contact anybody when in need. MTNL has cheap schemes but has a poor network.

    MTNL — No network / out of coverage area

    We have 3 mobile connections of MTNL. 2 Dolphin & 1 triump but not asingle connection works in our office. We have made complaint to ed of mtnl but so far no action has been taken

      Two days back, I downloaded few animated wallpapers on my mobile using GPRS in my mobile. The GPRS profile used was MTNL. However, after the wallpapers were downloaded, my account started getting deducted daily for about Rs. 20/- daily. I don't know why this charge is being deducted and that too daily. For the last 2 days, whenever I recharge my TRUMP prepaid connection, it automatically deducts certain amount, around Rs. 20/- daily. This is completely violations of the TRAI rules. This is happening daily and I want that it must refund my deducted amount with immediate effect.

      Kindly take neccessary actions immediately against such unwanted WAP sms services and ban them for lifetime for exploiting customers. I am continuously being charged daily from the sms server 50500.

      Please take action against 50500 sms server immediately. My mobile number is given below.

        no one is wanting to take any responsibility of the complaint aven after being a loyal customer since last 3-4 yrs.

        line-man says its not his work and the senior says the line-man will solve the issue.

          The Company promises to give a broadband speed upto 320kbps as per their DSLunlimited 395plan,
          However after 3 to 4 months o[censored]sage they have cut down the speed to a maximum of 37kbps.
          When i went to their office with my grievance they flatly said that this is the maximum u can get in an unlimited plan.
          So the problem is that they don't deliver as per the terms of their promise.
          I request the forum to look into the matter as soon as possible.

            Dear Team,

            I am facing lot of issues with mtnl broadband speed. I am complaining to them every day and getting stupid answer that it will get restored within 3-4 days. Its been a month since I am facing this low speed issue which is yet to get resolved and mtnl is charging high amount i.e. Rs. 495 + service tax for this plan.

            I want my broad band speed to be restored immediately and this months bill to be waived off as I could hardly able to use it because of this snail speed intenert connection.

            Please take imediate action against mtnl as they are not at all bother even to reply to the complaint lodge by the customer. I have not received any reply from mtnl on e-mail till now since I am complaining...

            Speed really sucks...i am getting speeds in range of 20 to 30kbps for last 2 months and on making complaints the rep at mtnl office tried to sell rs999 plan...
            I am using rs999 plans and I am getting 5kb speed for download from past 2 - 2n half months. I am tired of complaining, I complained for broad band internet service. I left for work, these technician comes and says to my mom, that he is a telephone technician and not broadband technician and he goes away, saying internet guy will come on some other day, which he never showed up. I am pissed off. If I call to customer care number, these ladies keep on talking all about market, vegetable to their colleagues over the phone and always say one thing, server me problem hai (there is problem with the server) and hang up. MTNL sucks, please do not go for MTNL, I miss my relaince, it was expensive, but better customer service. :(

              I submitted applications for refund of Registration amount of Rs.1000/-each for myself and my wife on 10.08.2010 to MTNL Preet Vihar office by Courier servoce. Till date inspite of two reminders, I have neither received the refund nor the status of our applications. Is there anybody in MTNL who can attend to my complaint. The registrations were made on 24.01.1990 (21 years back)

                i am a mtnl trump custumer of no. [protected] frm many years.
                on 8-4-2011 i requested for a duplicate sim of the above no. from janpat office c.p.
                and they issued me a duplicate sim of the above no. n the sim no. is[protected].
                but it is not activated yet.
                for this i made a call to custmer care n made a complain for this complain no. is 18900001.
                but there is not any response for this complain.
                when i went to the janpat office sanchar haat they replied we cant do anything plz visit our head office iddgaah karol bagh.
                i call to head office i got reply that ur work is under process but no any person able to tell me wht is d real problem in it.....n when it will be activate.
                plz solve my problem i m very worry about it.....

                    I am very much frustrated on MTNL broad band connection, which leads me to write this letter. Every Day the connection fails and use to put a complaint by phone . You can see my fault booking history in 198 system. Even before attending the problem, the complaint use to delete from your history. For past one week the broad band connection is not working. My wife is working from home by using this connection. She had gone to MTNL ofiice in new panvel and met an officer there. Nobody is taking any initiative to attend and solve the problem till now Please do a favor or advise me how to tackle the such type of situation arises and solve it in an easiest manner.

                          MTNL has failed to provide the services to their customers as my internet also is not working since 7 th june .Even contacting the area manager of dwarka several times but he is also helpless as on his behalf several people has note down the number and promised that the problem will be solved within 24 hrs . But that 24 hrs is not yet completed and then you expect me to pay for your services which i have not provided to me till now.I guess mtnl is very busy in making their new customers that they have least bodered about our complaints or stopped providing services.My telephone no. is [protected].

                              My name is Saud Ansari and i am using MTNL BroadBand internet services i was on DSL_unlimited_599 plan and i change my plan to DSL_unlimited_999 which is suppose to give speed of 1 Mbps but i am only getting 300 Kbps. I lodge the complaint no 6590 but there has been no response from them. My telephone number is 28122104. Please help me prevoius same thing happen and i suffered for a month for slow speed issue.

                              As per my broadband Plan and terms & conditions given to me by MTNL at the time of my registration the speed of my internet connection should be 256 kbps which was being received by me till October 2008 by very regretfully I have to state that the speed has been discontinued since then and came down to 120 kbps which is the 155 kbps till date. Apart of it my internet connection is disconnected my times in a day.

                              I have filled complains regarding this matter earlier to the MTNL office by mail and by phone in customer care also. and I also complain in MTNL North Zone office, Rohini, Sector-3, Delhi-110085 but no action has been taken by the department to solve this problem and I am suffering heavy time losses due to the slow speed of my internet connection.

                              This is my humble request to all o[censored] that join hand and file complain against MTNL in TRAI (Telephone Regulatory Authority of India).

                              of 256 Kbps... i got the speed near 220 kbpsfor 3 days only and from last 20 days my download speed reduced to 20Kbps only...I have complained no. of time...but still no action has been taken from MTNL yet...I am paying Rs.599 for the month & still not getting the speed...
                              Even their customer care guys dont have any resolution they just hang up the phone or give a other no. for Internet speed complaint and when i am call on it they also give a another no. that so at last no is not working ...

                              I have an MTNL 1 mbps connection. But I get ridiculously slow speed.
                              I look a new connection of mtnl landline plan 150
                              n then i took the new plan for internet paln 512kbps...
                              were as i get the speed of 20 kbps onlyfrom the day of connection i've told to the staff member he said their is some problem in network it will get resolved within a day u don't worry but still m facing the same problem my no is[protected] Dahisar east mumbai-400068.

Sir my phone is not working from 18/03/2011, I already complaint about this and few days back a maintenance man came and he told that the connecting port is not working properly but he asked me to pay for this. I can not pay him anything at that time my phone is working but after 2 hours it again stops working.Please help me regarding this and reply me positively.

Each time I dial interactive voice service xxxx2198 I only get msg that my complaint has been registered under docket no. 82210 and will be attended soon. Similarly several complaints have been registered online too. The MTNL exchange nos. just ring - no one picks up. Alternatively, one gets recorded msg that the no. is busy.

                                  hey all these people r shameless we cant do anything against them as i dont have MTNL but have tata modem wireless it is just worst we can simply spread the truth so atleast others will not buy their products. just spread this message you may get some impact. thank you
                                  I have mtnl, Mumbai landline no.[protected] and this number is not working since the last five months along with the BROADBAND facility. I am being charged Rs. 250 per month of monthly service charges plus Rs. 999/- per month for the BROADBAND Service charges plus taxes etc. I have given in a letter in writing on 4th of April, 2011 at the Charcop Telephone Exchange to please disconnect my abvoe landline number but instead of disconnecting the line, I receive a call from the telephone mechanic that my phone is working now but I insisted that pls disconect the same as I have given a letter in writing. But this has not been done till date and I have received another bill for the month of April, 2011.

                                  I have a problem using my Brodband as the Interner light is not blinking in the ASDL modem.
                                  I have booked a complaint but they state that a person will come on the same day and fix it but it 2 months now i am not able to fix the problem

                                  I have Voice recordings of all the representatives i have talken to for the past 20 days and also they gave me around 10 different numbers stating the numbers are for area supervisors who will look into the issue but no one picks the phone there.
                                  I have enough proof to submit against you as past two mionths i am paying my bill for 450 combo brodmabd plan but just it is in Vein .
                                  So kindly look into this issue ASAP or i will submit all proof to the Consumer Court ans launch legal complaint

                                    I am facing frequent Internet disconnections since last three months....every time i lodge a complaint on MTNL help line number 198 the complaint is attended only after 2 days and the internet connection is UP. It works for one day completely and than back to square one....it starts giving problem again...We have been paying the bills on time but the service provided is the most pathetic one. DISGUSTING MTNL TRIBAND SERVICE.

                                      sir i have mtnl[protected] unlimited broadband plan from the day of connection i used to download speed 200kb/ps but from last one week i an having decrease in speed from 80kb/ps to 10kb/ps. i have lodged many complaints with them but they are not solving my complaint (no. 6937/863) and giving me assurances that we are doing and solving the problem and today there executive came and said the problem is from mtnl side and the higher (mr. bharadwaj) authority is suggesting me to change the plan instead of solving my problem.
                                      sir please help me what should i do in this matter

                                        Hello,

                                        We have internet connection of MTNL Broadband with wifi. In this broadband connection we have no wifi connectivity with in 10 mtr and MTNL said this connection has 40 mtr range of connectivity. You are requested to please rectify this problem.
