Municipal Corporation of Delhi — Choking of Sewage Lines

We residents of Durga Park, Nasirpur Road, New Delhi - 110045 facing the problem of choking of Sewerage Lie from last one month and fromlast one week the darined water is leaking through the Main Holes covers .

Despite of complaints to Councilor and the concerned authorities no action has been taken as of now.

Walking on the streeet is impossible and thus leading to bad and foul smell across all houses.

Hope some authorities hear !!!

MCD — BLOCKED SEWAR

through this i want to inform you about the blockage of sewar my house, i.e.66/9 kishan garh vasant ,new Delhi 70.With the result the toilets of our house are blocked and the drainage too is not working, cockroaches, mosquitoes andfoul smell is coming out of my house. You are requested...pls

In Block 13, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi - 110008 (in front of house no 21) the underground drain is choked. This is resulting in collection of foul smelling water on the road resulting in spread of mosquitos. We don't even know whom to contact for doing the needful

The dirty water from the sewer keeps coming out of it and making it difficult for the small kids,senior citizen to use that stretch of street. Please help us out of this situation. I am a resident of D-14/27, Sector-7, Rohini Delhi-110085, The main sewer connecting the my house sewer system has been blocked for nearly 6 Days now and lodging complaint with the concerned department of the same has not helped. Now the situation is so bad that sewer water has filled up my bathroom and. Cansmething be done about it.

M C D — non cleaning of sewer lines for decades

THE SEWER LINES OF POCKET F-19, SECTOR 8 ROHINI HAVE NEVER BEEN CLEANED IN THE PAST 10 YEARS CAUSING THEM TO CLOG FREQUENTLY AND ALLOWING MOSQUITO BREEDING.

DO WE PAY PROPERTY TAX TO GET SMEELY AIR AND DENGUE SPREADING MOSQUITOES?
WHEN WILL MCD CLEAN THE SEWERS OF THIS POCKET?

Hi,

In our local area one Park is located adjoining 20-21 Block, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi. The name is appear on the gate of Park is Park No.6, Ward No. 95, & the name of Mali is Hira Lal.

But we have never seen the said Mali . There is no Delhi Government/MCD personal, who care and clean this Park and there is no arrangement for water for trees. In present when the trees are very assential to the human lives, there is not any care from Delhi govt./MCD. It is very shameful to us. We are ready to lookafter the said park, if govt. provides to proeprty water and one Mali or Safai Wala in the said Park.


Further submission is that after the sewage work, the Flaps of the Sewer are not in the level of Road, it is more in the hight of Road Lever and it could be major accident or injury to any person or vehicle. After the maintenance work by MCD there are some hole in Road nearby 20/6 West Patel Nagar. Pl. check and do the needful.

Further the many residents of block 20 west Patel Nagar, House NOs. 1-40, are wasting the water in early morning at about 06.00-7.00 am., which spreads on road. The govt. running many advertisements through media to stop the wastage of water, but it seems all the exercise is waste. Please cheak between 06.00a.m. to 7.00a.m. and peanlized them with heavy cost.

There is choking of Sewer mainhole in front of my house from the last two days ie from 26.06.2010. The dirty water is coming out from the Sewer and creating problem for resident of the locality.

I would like to draw for your kind attention that I am a resident of Old Delhi H. NO 3418 Gali hari shankar, Angoori Gatta, Bazar sita ram Behind Hamdard building Near Ravi das mandir.The MCD workers are not working properly in our area, bcz due to these reason the sewer have been choking very long time due to negligence of MCD workers. and by repetitive reminder from our side to these people are gone in vain(MCD City Zone).
I would be grateful if you take stern action against those people who are neglecting in their work.

M C D — cleaning/ safaie

MCD safaie karmchari's has dumped ahuge amount of debris/ kachara in the vacant plot adjoining my house wall.due to it cholera, dengu, chicken gunia etc. are spreading speedly in our locality. govt. & mcd official should take some responsibility to clear it 7 save life of people.

I am residing in A-!0/19, sector 18, Rohini, delhi, Two man hole RCC precat manhole on man hole are over sized and partly covering man holes causing foul smell in sewer line between blocks service lane road and risk of any mishap, any body can be easily injured while passing near these party covered manholes.

Municipal Corporation, DELHI — Sewer Choked

I am resident of B-7 / 184, Sector-3 , Rohini, Delhi-85. I had lodged a complaint in MCDs office (E-18, sector-3, Rohini) on 24.9.2011 regarding Choking Of Sewer connected tou house numbers 184 / 185 and 186. But till date no one has even bothere to attend it.

Jal Board, M.C.D. — Choked Sewer Lines

Our Sewer Lines are always choked thanks to the innumerable hotels and restaurants running in our area that have thrown all rules and regulations into the air.
They function without installing the mandatory “Sewer Trap” resulting in clogging of the main line by such items as small broken steel plates, plastic bottles, spoons, polythenes, uncut vegetables, etc.
They show no remorse to their wrong doings as they know they cannot be penalized for this.
I fail to understand why no mechanism is present to penalize such people who make the lives of other citizens a living hell.
As a result of such continuous unchecked clogging, a river of “Slush and Muck” continuously flows in our back lanes making our lives miserable.
1.) Besides making our lives miserable they are directly involved in playing with our lives by unleashing the sources of contamination and diseases unthought-of.
2.) They are directly responsible for causing of contamination of our potable water that will cause several diseases many of which are fatal to human lives.
3.) They are directly responsible for causing the breeding of dangerous diseases like dengue, etc.
4.) They are directly responsible for causing seepage of sewage water into the foundations of our 50 year old buildings that will eventually cause the weakening of its foundations resulting in the collapse and fall of such buildings
I am really feeling very sorry for a functioning government that feels so helpless in this matter as they
virtually cannot do anything to contain this menace or penalize the perpetrators.

MCD — inappropriate sewage system

in our village there is not appropriate sewage system.roads get flooded with water during morning.all sewage pipes had been blocked and nobody cleans them. mcd employees donot pay attention to them . they only come in morning for attendance and then go back to their homes.
