I absolutely understand the trauma you must have faced, but sadly we lie in a country which have shameless govt. officials who refuse to listen to the plight of the public. I am a resident of GK-2 and have family residing in green park too. The number of stray dogs is unbelievable. Meneka Gandhi should either take them home or some serious solution should be thought of.

Government's ABC programme has completely failed. I am very certain that your plight would only fall on DEAF EARS.

Sir, there are so many mad street dogs in this locality because of them its very difficult to take step out from our houses sepcially at night.I come late night from my office and I have seen and faced this situation where these dogs barks on us and they come closer to the motor bike rider to bite them. sometime biker lose their consideration from the road wcich become a cause of serious casulities.
Generally, these dogs you can see lying on the roads and they make their victim all the person who pass from them.I have fallen on the bike two times as well.
so this is my humble request to you to please pay attention on my letter and send immediately Dog catcher team in this area so that we wil get rid of this problem soon.

MCD — A Request to Save Public from Street Dogs.

Sir,

I am writing this communication with the intention to save general public from being bitten by street dogs in Greater Kailash – II, in a main road. It happened to me yesterday i.e. 28.08.2008, evening around 7.45 p.m. when I was leaving from my office to home on the way while I was walking on the main road, a group of 7, 8 street dogs were standing on the road side, before Residence No. W-3 (opposite Kudadaan). While I was crossing the spot, one dog was barking at me without provocation ran after me intentionally to bit me. I was running along the busy road to escape myself from the dog without keeping in mind that it was a busy road. Fortunately, at that point of time, just for one minute, there was no vehicle crossing on the road, so I luckily not only escaped from the dog but also from the possible fatale accident which could have happened because of huge vehicles passing through the road. I was disturbed mentally for a while after I escaped from the dog and possible road accident.

I hereby very humbly request the concerned persons /officers in the department to capture the street dogs and save the general public before making it harm to public more.

I hope my complaint will be entertained by the concerned staffs purely on the basis of public interest.

Hi,
Myself Mohd Azam, resient at 161/10- A, first Floor, Joga Bai, Jamia Nagar, Okhla, New delhi-110025. I have a problem regarding the street dogs who are lying under my building. Actually they used to look good & I myself like them very much. But the dogs have got some decease which are very harmful fro human being.

I would request the MCD authority to do some treatment on the dogs so, that the decease will remove away from them other wise the decease can kill the dogs and there puppy's as well it can harm us.

Hoping the above problem get solved asap.

in our locality many housese buid their open dustbin which posses many problem for us it creat many problems for us and this responsible for unhygenic condition on street and stray dogs are also responsible . our neighbour used open garbage creating many problems becoz for us so govt shouls make some stict laws on this situation becoz it contaminate the environment.

Yes I am strongly agreed with street dogs problem we all have a right of walk on streets peaceful and street dogs are the danger to every mankind even pets specially pet dogs. Govt should take action to against street dogs sorry it is wild dogs.

i would like to bring your attention to the problem of stray dogs in our locality- AG 1- 137c block dda MIG flats vikaspuri .the number of dogs has increased drastically.there are around 10-12 dogs that keep on barking all night.there have been incidents when children have been attcked.2 of the dogs have gone completly mad & they run after any person.

it has become highly unsafe to step out.would request an immidiate action on the same.

Dear Ma'am/Sir,
I would like to bring to your notice that :

1. The number of stray dogs in our colony are increasing by the day.Not only are they creating havoc at odd hours but also the security of the residents is in danger.

2.In addition, there are few hawkers selling non vegetarian food items next to our colony which is aggravating to the situation.Since they are not taking care of the envioronmental and hygiene issues, while disposing of their left over's(all kinds of raw meats) at the end of the day, action should be taken against them at once.

Assistance from the local authorities is o[censored]most importance.Local authorities such as NDMC and MCD along with the "Dog Catchers" are requested to take prompt and strict action against the problem faced.Residents of Sheikh Sarai, Phase1(Gate No.1) would be obliged for taking corrective action promptly and strictly.
