Water Logging — Water Logging....Fear of Dengue

I live in New Gupta Colony in North Delhi.From past 1week there is huge water Logging in front of B 20, New Gupta Colony.Due to which all the residents of the colony are fearing of dengue outbreak.Moreover it also stinks very badly.
Please concerned authority take some action for residents welfare .

I am a resident of South Extension [L-Block] Address: Bakshi, L-1/5, South Extension Part II, New Delhi - 110049
Through this website I would like to bring to the kind notice of MCD Delhi that there is Water Logging and Blockage in front of our House and Adjoining Houses.

It is creating a great danger for Dengue. The Mosquitoes are breeding in large numbers. The Department has sprayed the area for fear of Dengue. But, the water logging has not changed or dried. The residents who are dumping their drains are not ready to comply. The department that sprays, also challaned these residents, but there is no relief in sight.

We request you to take immediate action. There are about a dozen or more senior citizens staying in this area and they can be at risk of getting Dengue Fever.

There has already been a Dengue case in this lane and still people are ignoring this situation.

We request humbly, that the “right” department takes care of this situation and helps the senior citizens whose lives are at a great risk.

Also, as a result of this water logging, our house and the nearby houses are seeing many mosquitoes and even foul smell is coming out of these drains. The discarded water has been let out by the residents in those homes. This is the back to their homes, so, they are not caring what is happening in the back of their property – they are illegally dumping their waste into these drains.

Our house Zamadars/Sweepers are also unable to clear this mess.


You are requested... to take action against this.

It is getting worse everyday as the stagnant water is allowing the breeding to begin.

Please, please respond and have the appropriate authority take car of this situation before some people are infected with Dengue.

MCD — treatment of certain trees releasing insects.

it is to bring to your kind notice that certain trees planted on the space of Takshila apartments, patparganj,delhi-110092.which is adjecent to our society viz.jai laxmi apartments plotno.59,patparganj,del 92. during the start of this season i.e. from mid february these 5-7 trees in question start releasing a gum like substance and moreover a number of insects which peep in our houses through balconies doors and windows, these insects can be found crawling on the floors,beds,roofs,curtains,furniture,many a times in our food plates in the kitchen,these can also be found on our cloths,thus making atmosphere health hazardious for residents of the society.even kids alongwith elders are living under depression. these insects are spreading gradually to furthur areas of the society,these might create havoc?epidemic in the patparganj area which is very near to akshardam temple and commonwealth games village. you would appriciate that on the one hand govt is spending crores of rupees in the beautification of delhi city and on the other hand we the tax paying citizen are compelled to live in unhygienic living conditions. the officials of takshila apartments have been requested to do the needfull in this regard,but no action has been taken by them as they are not bothered with this problem being faced by the residents of jai laxmi apptts. you are requested to look in to the matter and save our lives from the menace..thnx

MCD — there so many flies and mosquitoes in my home

I am resident of 112-A Sec.IV Pusp Vihar, New Delhi I have state that since last 15 days manhole of sewage at the back yard of my flat is overfloying continuasly on being contacting cpwd and Delhi Jal Board they informe us that this pertain to MCD if this problem is not tackld immediately there may be dangour of lot of diseses including malaria and Dengue. You are requested to look in to the problem urgently so that residents around this area could be save from victim of diseses.

Municipal Corporation of Delhi — stagnant water lying in the lane

Sir,

I would like to bring to your notice that I am a resident of 16/10195 , WEA Beadonpura Karol Bagh.
I would further mention that there is stagnant water lying in our area where people would urinate and also excrete over there. It leads to excessive odour .It is a home to several diseases like dengue, malaria, cholera etc.

Several complaints to the MCD have brought no respite. Therefore I would like to put forth my complaint through this forum in regard to the above.

Hopeful that an action will soon be taken

Hi,

I am resident of C-1/1057 Vasant Kunj, I had a serious Dengu Case with my husband last year. I am very feaful that this year again I have the same risk with my other family memebers. My neighbours are having leaking pipes from AC. Water logging in Sewers that overflows often. The common shaft attached to my house is the breeding ground of mosquitoes. There are too much of musquitoes in my ground floor house. While uppoer storey houses are the reasons of breeding and clogged water on the ground floor. Your inspector Yadav has been requested since the last few months to intervene but he seems to be too busy and ineffective.

There were more than two dengue cases last year, near this shaft. Please do something. I plead that my husband's dengue became very serious with internal bleeding and all. I am very scared. Done my best to raise the alarm but to no avail. Final resort this email. Thanks for your early action

I am resident of WZ-167 (2nd Floor), Gali No. 10, Shiv Nagar (Monday Market Lane), Jail Road, New Delhi-110058. I am suffering from Dengue fever and my treatment is going on. Now, in our First Floor house there are two children are also suffering from Dengue. This is due to many mosquitoes in our locality. House construction is going on in my neighbourhood. That causes so many mosquitoes due to stagnation of water.

I am therefore requesting you to kindly look into my complaint and take necessary action in the matter.

Subject - Dengue Breeding

As I complaint before regarding the Dengue Mosquito. One of our neighbor (A-2/491-492 SECTOR-8 ROHINI DELHI-85) putting water for birds & animal and also not ready to remove the 8 to 10 plant pots, these are not plants it’s like scrubs & big grasses plants touching the top of our gate. If you see the land having green algae due to water. They are pouring water daily into it, which act like suitable habitats for mosquitoes. We have requested to them to remove or reduce the pots, but not ready to remove the pots. They are very adamant to have pots there only. Kindly do the needful, we have more kids in our neighbors. Pls do something to save them.

There are a lot of Mosquitoes in the D BLOCK, Nathupura village, BUDH BAZAR ROAD, Delhi-110084, these are prone to Malaria, dengue spread all over the places. It is impossible to survive with so much mosquitoes and we r thinking to move from here to somewhere else if possible work not done recently. So plz for god sake do something for removal of mosquitoes.
So kindly request you to take up some pest control system/fogging treatment from the North MCD for the health of public.

Dear Sir,

Can you kindly clean near and opposite 2nd market Chittaranjan Park Kalkaji as my aunt who is 84 years, who is susceptible to infection. She had pneumonia and last year she was hospitalised for fever. Also my sister-in law for last 4 days is suffering from fever and the Doctor is suspecting dengue.

Kindly take necessary action at the earliest as Durga Puja has also starteda nd arrange to clean the area as it is dirty throughout the year.

sir, mosquito breeding of massive scale in stagnant water almost since two months, due to some line burst in jagdish anand park Tagore Park ClZ Timar Pur Constituency is left unseen and unattended by authorities inspite of compaints ( last complaint no. clz/5404/ dt.15/9).The chair and bedridden old model maalis pass the buck by saying that they have diaried the complaint, just to save there skin.The park is full of people with bare arms and legs with fare chances being bitten by deadly dengue mosquitoes.Since the matter is of grave urgency please look into the matter and punish the accountable.
