Dear Sir,
I am Mohammed Anees, writing this letter on behalf of my mother and sister who was travelling by Nasair, XY-826, from Calicut to Dammam on[protected] early morning, Wednesday.
We arrived at the airport 2 hours prior to departure. We had already checked the baggage weights in advance and found that it was almost the same as the flight requirements. At the ticket counter, the weight was found in excess and the Ground Supervisor, Mr.Hani asked them to offload the hand luggage and reduce 6 kg's. Accordingly, we offloaded 3 kg's and paid 1000 rupees as excess baggage duty. Mr. Hani managed this process in such a bad way that it turned very late and immigration was about to close and the flight personnel and immigration personnel put high pressure on both of them to rush.
I was waiting outside the airport and when Mr. Hani came out of the airport, i inquired why the process took so long and made my mother and sister worried until the last moment. He was enraged at my question and upon that he said " I will show you who i am, i will not let them travel today". Upon saying that, he went inside the airport terminal, spotted my sister and mother told them that i had argued with him outside the airport and so have to pay more excess baggage or else he would not let them travel. Ultimately he snatched both the boarding passes from my sister and told them to pay excess of 1000 rupees again. They were really shocked and panicked, and out o fnot knowing what to do gave him 1000 rupees after which he let them go. I have copies of both the receipts as evidence.
Unfortunately i was leaving for dubai after 4 hours, otherwise i would have definitely filed a case against Flynas on behalf of Mr.Hani at the airport police. He had insulted both of them just because i asked the cause for their delay out of the airport. You must be well aware that boarding passess are issued once the baggage clearance is given. He has done a crime by going inside the airport terminal and snatching the boarding passes from two females who were travelling without a male company and asking them to pay more of excess baggage just because i spoke to him outside the ariport. Does this attitude suit your line of Industry, can they detain passengers because a third person spoke/inquired with them.
Therefore, i humbly request you to take a necessary action against Mr. Hani. I Promise that if there are no feedbacks from your side, i will take this incident to the local media very shortly, and also register a direct compliant at your Head qaurters in kuwait where i have the resources to do so. I have already registered an official complaint against Mr. Hani on the official website of Nasair. And if there are no feedbacks, i will go legally with the evidences that i have, doesnt matter whatever it takes for that. I have been flying for a very long time in various countries and carriers and it is my first experience of this kind.It has really disappointed me.
I hope you will show due respect to this mail and understand that it has been sent due to very strong reason.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Thanks and Regards
Mohammed Anees
