[Resolved] NIIT Marathahalli Centre Bangalore — Poor education

Hey guys... This is a student of niit marathahalli centre bangalore. This is a new centre enagurated in aug 2011. I joined for a diploma in java 99 days course in september 2011 and today is 9th feb 2012 however the course is still nt finished. It going to take another 15 day which stretches the course frm 99 days to 160 days.. This shows the niit's commitment over 99 days time stipulation. We wil leave that for time being. Another thing is that this niit centre doesnt employee any experienced faculty except the oracle faculty. Apart from the oracle faculty not a single faculty has any real time experience and they are fresher like us. In another word niit marathahalli teaching experience is pathetic. They only have 7-10 systems for doing lab however the batch size might go upto 15. These computers have more virus nd trojans than a 100Rs ###.. Also they have not been able to provide placement to a single student. The student who got placed are because they searched job on their own. So guys i[censored] are planning to pay 35000 to jst sit in AC rooms you are most welcomed.. Nyways the teaching is worst.. Nd i[censored] are thinking to join for placements wait for sometime because nobody got placed from the Marathahalli centre bangalore. 3 cheers for NIIT MARATHAHALLI CENTRE BANGALORE Was this information helpful? Balaji Md. is the faculty for java courses, and i guess he is the only competent faculty at this centre. Except him. most of the faculties are either in-experienced or are short on real application knoweldge. I am pursuing Diploma java course from the NIIT Marathahalli centre and we are lucky enough to have a good tutor to teach us.

You are very right!! Even I am a student from NIIT marathahalli joined for the same course. Since you havent mentioned your name we both might be in the same batch. My advice to anyone who is going to join NIIT Marathahalli is that please do NOT join this institute. Its thw worst. Even my course has almost covered a period of months (remember that it is a 99 days course that is going to give a placement).
The placement cell or the CG (Carrier Guidance) what they call is a worst lady I have ever seen. Once you approach there its for sure that she will try down to earth to make you a student of that stinking institution. She is not even aware of any companies that come to any NIITs I suppose. And it is because of only her we have also lost many chances of attending many companies. NO ONE GOT PLACED FROM THAT INSTITUTION TILL DATE.
Hell with the institution and hell withe staffs.
NEVER JOIN NIIT MARATHAHALLI MY FRIENDS!!!

I agree with you.
I suppose we both are in the same batch. The HR or career guidance whatever they call the lady who sits their for palcement has no idea od what company comes to NIIT.
She is the worst

hey guys another incident for u. Yesterday i recieved a cal from a friend studying in residency road centre. I got to knw that wipro is conducting an interview 2mrrw. However this information is not being conveyed by our student counsellor (smitha). Nd we wont be able to attend d interview because she has nt informed us nd we r nt able to fil d prerequisite details. I dnt knw for what job she s being paid for.. Only to lure innocent students to this deadly trap.. We have already lost capegemini interview because she conveyed the wrong information that til we complete d course we r nt eligible however when we checkd wit a person frm regional office(mack) he said there was no such criteria.. This shows how employees of niit marathahalli doesnt do their job because of which students r suffering. Niit marathalli has got a bunch of jokers nt all. Specially smitha who doesnt knw nythng.

hi friends,
this is one such an important message which the NIITs never let you know even after you join them. In case u join here for a placement course it will be quite usual for u guys to ask them the placement services. and once u start asking about the placements they forget all the promises made to you. There comes the second face. We might get arrogant and start asking the ruthless people again and again and then they say the shocking secret that a student is NOT ELIGILBLE TO ATTEND MORE THAN ONE COMPANY, and the funniest part is no COMPANY is gonna come to this stinking place. THE STUDENT COUNSELLOR IS ONE SUCH A DUMB

Suneer Md. is the faculty for Oracle courses, and i guess he is the only competent faculty at this centre. Except him. most of the faculties are either in-experienced or are short on real application knoweldge. I am pursuing Oracle10g DBA course from the NIIT Marathahalli centre and we are lucky enough to have a good tutor to teach us.

Hi Guys,

I am Priyanka. I am planning to join for Oracle course there, I am planning to do certification so I need guidance for that...Do they teach well, will I get the real time experience there??Because i have lost almost most of the money before going for training in the institutes. While counselling they will tell that they will do this, do that and all and finally when we pay money they don't even tend to respect us!!Its pathetic!!!
But I seriously need guidance for my Oracle!! My dream is to complete OCA certification..

Please let me know do they teach well? Because I don't want to waste my money and time...Please do suggest me If NIIT at marathalli is good?? I am just waiting for your reply...Suneer please give some suggestion as you are doing the same course..But I want to do 11G!!!
