I have always been an admirer of the old man, he speaks nicely and seems pretty in control of the things. I was approached by some of his manager a few days back, landed at this page while attempting to find out more about him over Internet, would like to share some findings.
• He manages about 57 Crores (Sep. 2011), which is certainly more than what some gentleman has claimed on this page but at the same time is very less for someone of P.N.Vijay's stature.
• There has been some charges against him (made to SEBI) and he has paid money (several Lakhs on two different occasions) to settle them under some Consent Order Settlement, source is the same disclosure document, available on the company's website and SEBI website.
• The company has posted significant losses over the past three years. The loss figures are in the range of 30 - 40 % of paid up capital of the company. The net worth, investments and “reserves and surplus” of the company too have declined significantly over the past three years.
• (The disclosure document covers data for past three years only. Looking at the trend it appears the company has not made significant profit even in the past.)
• There has also been drop in the nos. of clients and revenue over the past, part of it can be attributed to the falling markets but looking at the data and trend it seems he was never a significant player.

I would suggest everyone who is considering an association with him as a client, employee or even a major supplier (landlord etc.) should consider looking and analysing at the above documents before taking a call.
As far as I understand, the reason of posting such information on a public platform is to enable people (prospective stake holders) to know the details that some individuals / companies may try to hide.
