Sir,
SUBJECT:1. Complaint of interest charges levied, beginning from January 15th statement till the last august15th statement.
2. Reversal of late payment fees charged in march15th statement.
3.Levy of special joining fee charged for new card levied in February15th statement(new card yet not received)
4. Explanation sought for reversing reward points in february15th statement.

REF: 1.First complaint made on 18thmarch 2011 with your customer care department.
2. Response from Ibu Sam, customer service executive, vide letter dated 16 /03 /2011 bearing ref no.: 031111/579895C(it does not address my complaint at all)
3. second complaint made last Tuesday, 23rd August 2011 at about 2.30 P.M. with MR. Dhiraj Sangani of customer care department(it’s also a reminder to above referred first complaint wherein I wainformeby
him that it will be attended to ,within 3 to 4 days. No response till date.)

This is in reference to the above complaints, ( Four Nos.) as stated above, and I am now giving a written complaint as under:
1) It can be seen from your credit card statements that I have been making payments in toto,. Till date, excluding late fees charged, and interest charged every month, because I fail to understand how you are charging such exorbitant interest amount every month on the interest

amount not paid by me for the previous month and the same is continuing till the august15th statement. Either there is a mistake by your billing department and if not, you may please explain by giving proper written explanations.
2) Regarding late payment fee billed on march15th statement, it can be confirmed by my first complaint, that the same is not applicable since the amount of Rs.36,608.32 was dropped in your sector-1, Vashi box on 28/02/2011 well before the due date of 04/03/2011 and the same was then acknowledged and excepted by your customer care department. However this fee along with has not been reversed till date. All I got, was the above referred letter which did not address my query/complaint. Subsequently I could not respond to this letter also ,because I was busy for the next three months attending to my mother who was in ill health. After she tragically passed away in june end , I was busy in the post death ceremonies. Now, that I am back in my busy routine, I have taken time off, to make this written complaint.
You are once again requested to reverse the said late payment fee charged alongwith service tax, and the interest also so charged in the subsequent monthly bills.
3) On your offer of the new platinum card by phone, which I accepted immediately in good faith, this is to state that inspite of me not receiving the card till date, you have not yet reversed the joining fee amount of Rs.1000 along with service tax amount of Rs.103( totaling Rs.1103) and on top of that, I understand that you are levying interest charges along with service tax on every subsequent monthly statement bills. I really fail to understand as to how you are charging fees (and also subsequently the interest charges every month) for services not rendered completely ie. Till I have received the said new card.
Therefore sir, you are requested to reverse the said joining fee along with service tax(amounting to Rs.1103) and interest so charged subsequently till date. (incase I do receive the card subsequently you may then freshly charge the joining fee alongwith applicable service tax, which I will be willing to pay.)
4) Last but not the least, regarding the reversal of 851 reward points in your march statement bill, I got an explanation in my second complaint, that I should address the same to Imint department and, that ICICI is not responsible for the said reversal.
I fail to understand if reward points is awarded/reversed in the ICICI card statement every month, how come ICICI ccd department is not responsible for the same. I have never been in direct contact with I mint department till date and neither have they forwarded me the monthly statement of reward points earned/reversed. if there is any tie-up /understanding, between you and I mint, regarding awarding /reversing of rewards points, I request you to forward me copy the same. You are also requested to give explanation for reversal of above referred reward points. If not, you please reinstate the same in the next billing statement.
Note:-Closing balance reward points is 3036 as per aug.15,statement, and whereas, as per message (SMS) received on my cell from TD- Payback (previously I mint) on 23/08/2011, I have 7077 rewards points in my payback account as on 03/08/2011.( please explain the difference)

In anticipation of positive response, this is to inform you, that, against your 15th August bill
statement, I have dropped amount of Rs 19,244.99 by cheque dated 29/08/2011 bearing No. 000698
Drawn on Kotak Mahindra Bank Vashi Branch, on 30/08/2011, in your branch at sector -1 , Vashi. against
total amount due of Rs 27,171.45/-.The difference in amount of Rs 7926.86/- not paid is because of the
above referred complaints. to be addressed by your goodself.
In view of the above you are requested Sir,
a) To reverse all the above mention charges total amounting to Rs. 7926.86/- for the details reasons mentioned above. Incase the same is not complied with ,in part /in full, I would expect
you to give proper detailed explanation.
b)To explain the reversal of reward points as stated above and also difference in reward points
between you and payback (I mint) as per note at end of complain No. 4
You are also requested to explain why interest charge and service tax are being billed on another
credit Card bearing no.4400XXXXXXXX0026

Also Sir, if there are any mistakes/misinterpretation from my side, you may let me know accordingly,
to enable me to recheck the same.
This is to reiterate Sir, that I have been your customer since many years, and I desire to continue my
relation with your credit card department. I have had no problems till date that
has not been addressed by your department in fair and positive attitude. I am once again Optimistic, that my complaint will be addressed to, in a fair and justifiable manner, to enable us to continue our relationship.

ICICI BANK LTD /CREDIT CARDS — EXORBITANT CHARGES AS INTEREST AND LATE FEES

had ICICI bank credit card since year 2005 which was renewed in 2009 ,during may-june 2010 I went thorugh a rough phase and could not pay the card dues which was apprx 13000 at that time, however I requested to convert the same in about 6 installement and sent emails after emails and also made telephone calls to the call centre.Since no response I paid some min amount dues as requeste by them,afte few months I got a shock as ICICI said they cannot give any facility ,due to delay in their reply I was charged over 5% per month (60%p.A).I wrote several letters to the head offices and still there is no reply,on 25th feb 2011 I paid the principle dues which was about 10591.00 and also returned the cards along with the letter and also demanded arbitration proceedings for the matter,till date they have been sending me hefty and inflated bills now amounting to rs.8474/- As of 20 may 2011 .No one form the company is responsing to the letters send to the nodal office shri shiva kumat todikanda.
Ima getteing threatening calls from odd numbers for payment of the same.

Kindly help as if they countunue sending bills like this then it will be in lakhs one day.

I have applied for educational loan from SBI, Kankaria, Ahmedabad. Rs.4, 00, 000/- was sanctioned and till date in a span of four I taken loan for Rs.4, 00, 000/. As per the government, EDUCATIONAL LOAN SUBSIDY, all the relevant documents has been submitted to the SBI Branch, Ambawadi, aHMEDABAD. Till date no one from SBI branch is able to tell me the status of my above educational loan subsidy. I wanted to know the subsidy amount and or status of the same.
