passport authorities bangalore, les concierge — passport delay

I am putting my complaint in this forum to just let people know what all I have faced. Perhaps, there is a thing or two one might benefit on from here.

I had applied for my passport re-issue on 24th March. Actually much before that - end of Feb only, only these Les Concierges people delayed it in submitting it to passport office.

After that, I tried contacting the passport office and called their numbers not less than 200 times. no reply. no one picks up these phone numbers[protected], 01, 02. I sent some 10 emails also, but didn't help (they claim that they can give limited response on phone, but i didn't get any on email also). after some 15-20 days, the phone finally got through, and then they told me that it has been submitted for police verification (i never thought it would required for a re-issue, however, by this time i had lost 15-20 days which could have been saved). I rushed to the local police station (Mahadevapura) who said this under KR Puram jurisdiction who said it was under Kadugodi jurisdiction. And for each police station it proceeds through what they call as COP office". Kadugodi people only verified for current address and not the previous one within the last year and again it got rejected from the COP. Finally, for the previous address, HAL police station verified it.

As of now, passport office hasn't got the my verified application. Meanwhile, I have lost at least one overseas opportunity at my company.

Lessons:
1. Better use Bangalore One than Les Concierges. at least my experience says so. My friends told me only later that Bangalore One is more reliable for submitting applications.
2. Try and get the jurisdiction verified at the first chance. Get the police people to personally come and verify your area before you proceed. Else they will just keep passing the buck
3. Better put only one address - even the police advised the same thing !!
