Passport — delay in getting the passport

Dear sir

Its getting week days completing my police enquiry, but i didnt getting the information abt my

status in the fallowing site http://passport.gov.in/ but its showing it doesnt have any information...

...i kindly request you wat is the process to know the status of passport and my passport number is

Z501567

Why is it that when you go to get a passport, they tell you one month. that's all it would take. And then the police comes to your house and takes money from you, which is a very common scenario, we Indian's are in fact used to it by now. And they don't come just ones, they come twice, one from Noida SP Office is what he told me, and another from Kasna thana. First one took 300 and said its done and second took 500 and said its done and he's send it the very next day if not the same day. Well, this is what I get whenever I check it.

STATUS :

Police Report has not been received.

Now its been over one month since I applied, but this doesn't seem to move at all. I don't wish to disclose my name as I don't want these Vardi Waale Gunde to do their Dadagiri or play smart and delay my passport proceedings on purpse.

So kindly see to it that all the documents for passport application that have been verified already at Kasna Thana Greater Noida should be released to the passport office at its earliest so that we get what we are waiting for.
