[Resolved]  Passport — I have lost my passport

RESPECTED SIR,
I HAVE LOST MY PASSPORT. MY FILE NO. WAS JPR022580.WHICH I HAD SUBMITTED IN 29 MARCH 2007. NOW I WANT TO KNOW MY PASSPORT NUMBER.PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL.

I applied for a passport on 30th Setp 2008 and the same has been despatched by passport office on 15th Dec 2008. I had not received it till today 16th May 2009. I visited passport office on 12th May 2009 and came to know that passport has already been delivered. Then I visited to speed post head office and asked for proof of delivery. POD is showing signature of some Kamlesh on 16th Dec 2008 who is totaly stranger for me.
No one in my family has this name. Apparently my passport has been delivered to some wrong person by the postman.
I am affraid now as how to get my passport. Please give your suggestion and bring me out of this helpless situation.

Dear sir,

I have lost my passport no; H 1935492. and the local police station is not accepting my FIR and for this they says they need a proof which showing that i really own the passport. now i am in deep trouble. I can be in problem if my passport gone in to hands of bad people.


Plz help what to do??
