Please let me know the information and what can I do to get my passport...

I have applied for my passport on 15/12/2010 and havce not received my passport till now when I check my passport application status it states that your police verification is not yet submitted but I have already done the procedure of police verification in the mid of january 2011 and I have cleared my police verification as I have no criminal records. My name is Parin Dhanjibhai Patel, I reside in borivali and my passport off ice is Worli Mumbai. POlice station comes under my are is Borivali (W) Police Station. My filer referencfe number is B042798. I had applied for passport in January , 2011 and police enquiry had been completed for the same in March, 2011. I have not got my passport yet and for past 3 weeks the status was shown as "police report is incomplete and case is being examined". When i called up the police he told that he submitted correctly, Sir please tell what i should do now because passport is very urgent for me as i need to write my GRE exam in june. Please..........

i applied (file no MDU-Z[protected] for passport on 01.04.11in Madurai passport office through Tirunelvelli District passport office, but still now i have not received my passport. This is almost 2 months which normal TAT also completed. Police verification also been delayed because of recently concluded election in TN.I personally visited the local police station and shown all my proof for verification. After completion of verification police personnel told that the documents had been sent back to Madurai passport office, which is also almost two weeks gone. When I check the status it shows “Police verification had not been received”. Kindly look into this on immediate basis

Is it posible that am immigration officer can cancelled my passport only on th basis that i am loitering in China for 10 months as vacation. and there is no any reason. Hewas demanding 3 lakhs when i didnt give him he was threaten me cancel my pasport. So it posible ? or how can i check whether my passport is cancelled or not? can u pls help me?

BUT WE HAVE GONE TO THE BARAX AND ENQUIRED
FOR THE REASONS OF NOT SUBMITTING THE REPORT
THEY HAVE GIVEN US THE CONFIRMATION THAT THEY
HAVE SUBMITTED THE POLICE REPORT AND THE PERSON
WHO CAME FOR THE ENQUIRY TO OUR HOME IS Mr. SWAMI

We HAVE GONE TO PASSPORT OFFICE AND ENQUIRED REGARDING
THE SUBMISSION OF THE POLICE REPORT. THEY HAVE SAID
"IF YOU GIVE Rs.5000/- THEN THE PASSPORT WILL BE IN YOUR HAND BY
3-4 DAYS"

SO ITS CLEAR THAT MY PASSPORT IS HELD ONLY ON THE GROUNDS
THAT I HAVE NOT GIVEN THE DEMANDED AMOUNT BY THE PASSPORT OFFICIALS.

I AM PUTTING THE COMPLAINT TODAY.
I WILL WAIT FOR 15 DAYS IF THERE IS ANY IMPROVEMENT
THEN OK BUT IF THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT IN MY PASS PORT STATUS
THEN I AM GOING TO GIVE COMPLAINT ON THE CONCERNED PERSONS
WHO DEMANDED ME CORRUPTION

THE COMPLAINT WILL BE GIVEN THROUGH THE MEDIA ALSO
AND I WILL NOT LEAVE THE CONCERNED PERSONS WHO DEMANDED

They gave me a receipt which has a number like BGP-W-06-0444 , but this is not a FILE NO because file no starts with PAT for bihar. Till now there is no news... nearly 3 months have passed. Kindly help me with any information if possible.

I need to change year of birth on passport as entry is wrong and ECR check is also marked.
Do i need to visit the Bihar passport or else it can be done from other state.Presently I am at Andhra pradesh.

I have visited to passport office at Hyderabad to get some information but there is no helpdesk to guide us, help line phones always it will ring but no one will pick up the phone some times its in engage mode. the way we are entering to the passport office...
