[Resolved] Passport Office Dehradun — No one picking phone

Hi,

I have been trying to call on following number from last 15days but no one is picking the phone

[protected],2652162,2652164

I am staying at Gurgaon and it is not possible for me to come Dehardun for every single query, It is really very urgent for me to know what is the procedure of correcting the name and what are the document they require but no one is picking the phone.

It is really bad and I am now frustrating dialing the number daily.

if they have not suppose to pick the phone then why they are mentioning that number over their passport website.

Please take the serious step against them so that in future we don't suffer like this.

Now a days uttarakhand is most corrupt state all over India. Although i am from uttarakhand but i don't feel proud to be of here. Corruption is on peak over here. If you need to get driving License you have to give bribe almost 2000 Rs, if you are going for a passport then you need to spend appx 2500 INR as bribe. if you are not going to pay bribe for police officers or verification officers then just forget about your DL or Passport. you can just dream for it. The average time to get passport in uttarakhand is 3 month, if you will pay bribe, otherwise No chance, the verification officer will reject your all documents cause they have several reasons... for examples in Gopeshwar( Chamoli garhwal) fee of verification is 2500 rupee if you are working, if you are unemployed then you need to pay 1000 rs... Mr Tamta(most corrupt Verification officer & Mr. Bisht (Attandent of mr tamta ...) both dont know how to speak with someone, they only need money do verify passport process...

To get passport in Uttarakhand is just like to achieve Big Dream. This is very tuff task.

Hey i[censored] are going to apply for passport never apply from uttarakhand, i[censored] will apply from here you need to spend 4000 INR with no guaranty to receive on time. if you are planning to go overseas then have to apply before 12 months...
