[Resolved]  Passport — Passport not received and Passport office not responding

I am currently studying in Indian Institute of Technology BHU, Varanasi . I had applied for a passport in November of 2011, application number LKOZ884686. Even though I had produced all the documents during police verification the status of passport shown on the website passport is Police report is incomplete and the case is being examined.
After this status was shown, I went to the Lucknow passport office in February 2012 with an affidavit stating residence, citizenship, date of birth and requested for a re-verification. After submitting the affidavit along with the particulars form I was assured that the re-verification would be done soon. But no intimation for verification came and there was no response on the part of Lucknow passport office. I also tried to know about my application from Varanasi local passport office but they did not respond properly. Please look into the matter and take immediate action as I plan to pursue higher studies in near future.
