Passport — Passport progress delay

Address: Kallipur islampur Varanasi UP, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

Dear Sir/Madam,

We apply for a passport of my wife on[protected] with file ref no: LK[protected], Applicant's Name: FARAJANA BEGAM & the status is showing that Pending for physical police verification at your respective Thana under SP Office, District Varanasi. We are waiting for inquiry last two month but not yet came. Can you please confirm me when it will progress?
This is very much frustrating & unfortunate.
