Passport — Passport has not arrived yet

I had applied for my passport by normal procedure on[protected] and recieved my receipt. But due to some reasons i have to go for a business trip abroad on 4-8-2011, my tickets are booked and i am still waiting for my passport since 2 months now. Also, i have submit two letter one hand written and one on my company's letter head in the passport office Bhikaji Cama Place, as a request for dispatching my passport soon as i have to apply for my visa. They wrote a date[protected] and gave stories that it will be dispatched by this date and you will receive it by in 3 days. I'm still waiting for it.
