Thanks for the reciprocation from the Maruti Customer Service Team. I would just like to add to that - I am aware of the demand excess in case of Swift, but the crux of the problem is the way in which the customer is dealt. Even to know that there is delay, the customer has to call up and enquire. Secondly, the problem is that there is no definitive answer. I will expect some update from atleast the Maruti Customer service team.

I have booked swift vdi through Popular March 25th 2011 @ velacherry and payment is made on 20th May and assure to deliver the car on or before 5th June and previously marketing manager told the truck which is left from Gurgoan is on the way and we could not trace the vehicle .. but till date no response and when i stepped in to popular, Ast.Manager Mr.Gopalkrishnan.D said that the vehicle is damaged and it is sent back to maruthi factory so i have to wait for another 15 days for delivery meanwhile from the payment i have waiting for 30 days for delivery . I have to pay my first instalment to my financier without a car.. it is really horrible.. careless and they dont stick on to commitment...

I think sales guys should have collected payment at earlier because of target acheivement.
or the car bearing above chasis number would have been delivered to another bribed customer..
