It is true. Very horrable to disconnect the power cut tiruninravur. Kdly instruct the concerned to do the power cut only 2 hours as per Tamilnadu Government order dt: 26/2/2012
Tiruninravur comes avadi constituency, Chennai city traffic police control and comes under CMDA limit.Tiruninravur population base much higher than pattabiram and Hindu college combined, the TNEB cuts the power at 7.30 PM to 8.30 PM and 9.30 PM to 10.30 PM this is the time when office goers return home(twice the fold of hindu college and pattabiram population combined). People from Pakkam to periyapalayam and Villages towards poonamallee and tiruvallur halt here to go to their place. After reaching home people can't eat peacefully after 10 hours of work at office, people need a goodnight sleep which is bungled up because of power cuts(7.30PM to 8.30PM, 9.30PM to 10.30PM, 12AM to 12.45AM, 2.15AM to 3.00AM, 4.00 am to 6.00am). In city people are experiencing only 2 hours of power cut and we experience more than 10 hours what a discrimination. Do people in city only have the previlege yo sleep peacefully, don't we have lives? They do the power cut here and supply the power to chennai. If they do the power cut in chennai it will acquire a great media attention, if they do in suburbs no one cares. 98% of the people in suburbs don't have A/C in their they use only fan, but people in chennai use many appliances which consumes lot of power. People in chennai leading a luxury life at the cost of our peaceful life. Acttion need to be taken, I wonder why people are mouth tied. I heard that even madurai and trichy suburbs the powercut is less than 4 hours.

The govt announces that the powercut is for 4 hours but reality is powersupply is for 4 hours.

In tiruninravur even they are not giving any prior information about the maintainance power cut.
As per govt norms they should cut only for 2 hours in city. But they are cutting more than 8 hours. Its too ridiculous.
Tiruninravur EB got the award last year for saving more power by cutting.I have seen street lights glowing even at 8:30am in lakshmipuram, selvaraj nagar, anthony nagar. They can save the power by switching off the street lights at correct time instead of cutting people correct indisciplined manner. They want to sustain the award by making lots of children and grandy's suffer.

Again they cutted the power from 10:30 pm to 12 pm.
Key thing is 4th april 2012 is 10th public exam. In thiruninravur we have 4 matric & 1 govt higher secondary schools.
Please take the necessary action sir.

sir an area called NAZARETHPET is near thirumazhisai which is near thiruninravur. there is only 2 hrs of power cut. but just 3 kms from there we experience almost 10 to 12 hrs of powercut.
our area AE is an useless fellow. what ever we ask he says, " UR AREA BELONGS TO SRIPERUMBUDUR, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE"
but for what hell he is appointed in our area.?

power cut — Power cut anytime for long time
Hi,I dont know whether any action will be taken on this complaint or not but still have some faith.
I stay in Mythri Nagar (ERO - 111- Kikatpally), and facing tremendous trouble from power cut.
They cut the power anytime for 3-4 hrs and many times in 24hrs.
Could you please take some action on this.
