[Resolved]  Presidium School : Indirapuram — Teachers at Presidium

I had the same experiance with Presidium Indrapuram. During the admission, I was asked to pay Rs.10000 for a Photo Album which is included in the total admission amount communicated to me with some fancy name. I was not sure what it was until I went into the details and questioned Rs.10000 and came to know that it is for a Photo Album. I was told that it is mandatory and that every parent has to pay for it. I just refused to admit my son, post which it was eleminated from the total. I did not admit my son in the school. I lost complete trust and respect towards Presidium after this and got scared that they may start squeezing me by extracting money in one form or the other through out the his acadamic period. God save the parents who has their child studying in Presidium.

people ..my only request to scholl...now is they have spent money on the infra its time for them to invest in teachers...now if they done they will not be able to earn any money what soo ever now they are earning.
simple reason...they have more then 300 students leaving every year. in order to ensure kids are educated and people stay with them only bottom line they need to only now focus on good teachers to be hired and focused on studies...i hope some from school muct read and act. as educated parent all school now a days are asking for money...however they also ensure parents are happy after the effort made by teachers on the kids...at the end of the day if the moeny get the return it can never be waist ...its good investements...School should hire good teacher bottom line...

Teachers working here are just on exploitation of there incharges. They literally working like labourers in school without any off not even on sundays and gazetted holidays without any compensations.Salary is just based on bargaining process there is scope for qualified and experience holders in this school.There is no time fixation for going to school n back from school for teachers, they can make you sit in school without any work for 10 -12 hrs also.
literally I had a very bad experience in just 1 month of joining..They even give incentives to people who get admissions for them.This is the reason they are getting so much of admissions.

THERE IS NO SCOPE FOR QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCE TEACHERS. THEY ARE HIRING PEOPLE WHO NOT EVEN GRADUATE NEITHER B.ED.

my request to Ms.Sudha Gupta kindly read all the things and get improved the structure and prestige, its all upto you mam, dnt play with the parents and childrens future.

I got my son admitted to the school, just 2nd day of his school, he is crying with hunger, as he does not get proper food which school has promised for..

he asked more papaya from his teacher and she refused to provide more. such a shame, i will get my child admittied to another school next year.

offcourse this school is for collecting money, then which school is best in Noida as i have little knowledge for noida

I will not talk about salary of teachers or the fee charged by school. I wanted to talk about the students.. if there are activity in the school, it does not mean that your child is not learning anything... rather he is learning in passive way.. activities must be there in curriculum.. but as per course is concerned.. teachers should also pay their heed to complete it on time and vis a vis it is a responsibility of parents also to make their children understand how important study is for their future.. Teacher's role is important here..

Hi, i have my one kid studying in Presidium Indirapuram. He just got promoted to class 4th. Last year i got him admitted to class 3rd as I had no other option in Indirapuram and the admissions were open to all. I paid a huge sum of money during 3rd standard admission, then the account fellow gave me a break up of the fee and charged me 20k (twenty thousand rupee) for building development fund and told me categorically that this is a onetime charge for new admissions and will not be applicable next year if he continues . This year, when I went to pay the fees, when I asked her for a break up i was surprised to see a repeat of building development fund 24k( twenty four thousand ) to my surprise. When asked about the query on the same. I was asked to wait, kept on waiting for almost an hour and the this admin guy comes to me (Manish) and gives me a list of expenses incurred in running the school, which also accounts for the refreshments the child get during the day. I have been a parent for 10 years now and have been to different parts of India namely Mumbai and Bangalore, never faced a situation like this. A school is asking for building development fund from all parents irrespective of they being new admission or continuing with the school and more surprised to see the parents of all happily paying up ( proud of the fact that the child is getting educated in Presidium) we are literal of the highest order. This school does not stand for the image is has advertised all over the place. Mrs. Gupta should have a better business model to run the school than to have parents paying up for her aspirations in life. One suggestion ma’am, if you stop riding you Bentley convertible and start behaving like Dr. Abdul Kalam it will really help us all.

Hi to only those people who disappointed with this "Corporate House not academy"
Last year me & my wife went to east Delhi's mothers pride branch just for inquiry not for pre determined about admission in presidium school.The branch in charge MsTulika pushed us for admission but i wasn't convinced at all and i said that i hadn't have checkbook right now and we'll take admission later, beside that she made us to wait for an hour to come a executive for collecting check from our house.Then she sent a man behind us to reach our house, then ultimately i had to given away the check amount of Rs 51652/- because i wasn't getting admission to my child anywhere in delhi.I have been told by that lady that Presidium INDIRAPURAM school is up to 12th standard but now i came to know about the fact that it is just up-to 4 th class only.They are mislead to their students and misguiding to the parents.

what will you do a Rs 2000/- Parenting kit? Are you not a good parent?
What will your child do a Rs1250/- poems book of sudha gupta?
What will you do with your child' photo album? worth Rs 10000/-
what will you do of club dress Rs1600/-next year?
what will you do of Reebok shoes Rs100/-next year?
what will you do of Teak wan do dress 600/-neat year?
These are the some important questions which you will have to face every year with yourself when you keep continuing with this "Corporate House".They are filling their savings and nothing to do with the children & parents.Teachers in this school are not so qualified but English spoken and good looking only.Curriculum is near to nothing and activities is worthless and time wasting.After spending almost Rs 200000/- in a year my son forgot everything which he was taught in his previous school.I am very much feeling betrayed and cheated.PLEASE BE WISE AND DON'T EVEN THINK OF TO GO IN THIS "CORPORATE HOUSE"SAVE YOUR CHILD'S FUTURE.

hi i gave interview in mp indrapuram asked to do paid coarse for a year, stipend of rs 6000 after 6 months training and then job but i denied saying i wanted to earn money spend for such coarse though im MA, B.ed. but then they called and offered me to do that course with full100 percent scholorship to teach pre schooler... but im confused should i join it or not cause doin a year course waiting paitiently to get salary is not a good idea though ive a good 2 year expierece in teaching up 8th std student what u guys say?

i completely agree. even my child is studying in presidium in class 3. they are charging hefty. this year they raised the fees again. every year they are also charging development charges along with the annual fees.they charged 3000 for 5 books and 6 copies in the maths, science and computer books were not given. it was said that every week they would be given sheets for the subjects. i can compare the amount for the books and loose sheets because my son who is studying in d.p s indirapuram class 6 was charged almost the same amount for huge amount of books and copies.they are charging enormously and study is no different.schools these days are no longer a non profitable organisation but a highly profitable one.

ALL THE BRANCHES OF PRESIDIUM AND MOTHRS PRIDE ARE USELESS. ONE OF MY FRIEND IS WORKING IN PRESIDIUM AND SHE KEEPS ON COMPLAINING TO ME ABOUT SUDHA GUPTA. SHE KEEPS TRAINING EVERYDAY N EXPLOITS TEACHERS TO THE LIMIT AND ABOVE ALL THERE IS AN INCHARGE (DEBI) FROM ANY BRANCH, SHE KEEPS ON PLAYING POLITICS IN THE SCHOOL. MY FRIEND ALSO TOLD ME THAT THIS INCHARGE HUMILIATES AND INSULT TEACHERS BADLY IN FRONT OF THE PARENTS AND STUDENTS. SO AS IT IS THERE IS NO RESPECT FOR THE TEACHER. AND THESE PEOPLE DONT PAY ENOUGH TO THE TEACHERS ALSO. I THINK WE SHOULD ALL LODGE A COMPLAINT AGAINST PRESIDIUM AND SUDHA GUPTA AND INCHARGES. MY SUGGESTION TO ALL PEOPLE DONT PUT YOUR CHILD INTO PRESIDIUM ANY BRANCH THEY ARE A BUNCH OF RUNNING THIS ORGANIZATION.

Why are parents being fooled by these big SHOP LIKE SCHOOL"S? Just bcz we are permitting them to do so.We the parents of today have also got best possible education which our parents gave us but now EDUCATION has taken a different look it has turned into show business.I hope schools like having AC facility and bla bla should be shut down let our children learn and face the hardships of life than they will truly understand the value of money.If this is not done we will continue to have teachers of such standard only.

I duly agree with the staement given above regarding the books--compulsion to but at sucha high rate.

Moreover we dont know what teachers are doing in classrooms like... what activity is going on and what kids are learning...
Justforwarding a single circular to parents doesn't mean that kids are getting the same learning which is mentioned in the weekly or monthly circulars kept in kids school bag for parents info.

PTM doesn;t happen in last 3 months.

When teacher use to call parents for review call...they are in hurry and states we have to call upon N no.. of calls and thats why we donot have time.

If teacher doesnot satisfy by stating his/her remarks to Parents then how can a kid learn ...and parents will not get to knowwhat is going on in school...and what kid has learned in those 3 hrs precious time of their lives in school.

Moreover Teachers use to speak speadily, wherein sometimes we as an adult can't understand, , , , then how can a little one understand..

Teachers pressurise us on phone calls for the repetition (as home work) for the activity they are doing in school...but we dont know about what activity/study has been done on that day.. then what the hell we compell our kids to repeat...

It should be noted down in kids dairy on daily basis about what activity they did ...


I would like to request the management please manage in a better and sensible way i.e the working of the staff, , , herein i m not complaining about a single person /staff...if we are paying such a high amount and had a faith on you (as a face of org/mgt), , , then we have a full right to put our remarks/complaints if any...

Herein pls. take the corrective action by conducting PTM's on Sunday.(first half) ..as in today's scnario everybody is busy and is tough to take offs from our services...And also conduct competitions on Sunday's ...

TRULY SAID, they charge heavy fees from students & in return the teaching staff is not even have B.ED degree.

All presidium branches are only money oriented .they can represent sudha gupta as a godess. they dont bother about the qualification of teacher though they charge heavy fee from parents . almost all the teachers are non B.Ed .Ms. Sudha gupta run lots og NGO & force the parents to give the money, Govt. should take serious action against this kind of school.

I do not know the reality however, as per I have gathered feedback from my friends that they are more into money orientation than academics, hope to see a 360 degree paradigm shift in school management's approach

should correct the same in time before its too late

my son got admission in all the prestigious schools of noida, yet we decided to put him into presidium simply becoz we were very happy with mothers' pride. he troubled us while going to school for more than 6 months, the teachers kept their patience with him and today he loves going to school. they are not lagging behind in curriculum (i keep cross-checking with other schools) and i get a regular feedback and phone calls from his teachers. as far as the admission fee for nursery is compared, it was lesser than most of the prestigious schools in noida. the cab service is excellent. my son says "mumma i enjoyed my school today" and i think that is what matters most at this level. most of the complaints of rising fee or other things are i think common with every school around so one cannot single out any particular school and it is equally true in case of making the child study at home. parents are supposed to take care of their child's study as sincerely as the teachers, and be it any school, everywhere one has to work with their kids. DPS forces parents to pay donations, sommerville has so much of study load that children hardly have time for anything else. atleast this is one school where complaints are heard. i have interacted with amity teachers and believe me they were horribly rude with the kids at the time of entrance exams. so every school has its pro and cons, presidium being no different.
