Pune Traffic — Excess fare by auto rickshaw

On 26th December, 2010, I travelled from Swargate, from near Anand Hall to Mitra Mandal, at about 11:40 a.m. The meter can not exceed Count 1. At decimal it was not clear showing Zero, neither was it one definitely. The rikshaw claimed to be Count 1.10 and took Rs.12/- from me. It means the meter is either running fast or is faulty, giving an opportunity to engage the passenger is quarrels. The rikshaw number was MH12 F1324. I wish that the meter should be checked and the concerned person should be penalized / punished accordingly.
