I have a feeling that the contests run by Radio one are biased rather unfair. Why do I have this feeling is for the following reasons:
1. I am religious listener of Radio One and my day starts Prithvi's show early in the morning (that's my early morning). I see many winners/callers being repeated on the shows through out the day whereas when i try to call, nobody seems to answer the call.
2. I have been trying to participate in the contests run by them and there have been many occasions when even after sending correct answers MJ(thats what they call themselves) announced that s/he has not received the correct answer and then in no time, winner is announced.
My only question here is: If the winner sent the correct answer before I did then why such an announcement was made by the MJ and if the winner sent the answer after me, how was s/he announced a winner, what happened to the answer I sent:). Did MJ made the announcement only to get more and more sms? What exactly are they trying to achieve by doing this?
I am not here to pass any judgement as to how these shows are run but it actually hurts to see how people can play with your sentiments and emotions. it hurts to see how people cheat on you just because you had placed trust in them and they think you are willing to get cheated :).
To be honest I have completely stopped sending any sms to such shows since yesterday. I have done my bit :) Was this information helpful? |
