Ragni Placement (Regd 1529) — Fraud by Ragni Placement -1. Hiring of maid/domestic servant through agency

Dear Sir / Madam,

With reference to the above stated subject, I Francis wish to bring to your kind attention the situation of the agencies which provide domestic servants.

I had hired a maid from (advertisment publised in The Times of India dt 28.07.2010) Ragni Placement (REGD NO.1529), B-185 2ND FLOOR, Dilshad Colony, New Delhi – 110 095., Tel : [protected], [protected] on 01/08/2010.

She (Ms Nisha Tamang –maid - as mentioned on bio data given by placement agency) went away from my residence on 02/08/10 around 9.15-9.30 a.m. inform to family member , she want to go temple for workship and then she never returned back. I immediately informed the Mr. Bikram / Mr Rahul the agent of the Agency (Ragni Placement (REGD NO.1529), He informed me to lodge a complaint at the Police station and I did the same on 02/08/10 at Palam Police Station.

I did the same with immediate effect and since that day I have been calling the agent regularly for the replacement of the domestic help or refund of Rs.11000/- I paid to the agency as the commission & 1 month advance salary of the servant.

He had time and again assured me that he will repay the commission. However, now he is not attending my phone calls. I therefore, seek your intervention in the matter in which lot of money is on stake and police has also not done their job.

I would appreciate if you would help me to get the refund back from this agency.
