Ray Ban sunglass, product no- RB4171 ERIKA 710/T5 54D18 145 3P
Hi, i have purchased the sunglass approximately 19-20 months ago in one Ray Ban store in Guwahati, Assam, India. since last few weeks i have observed that the polar/UV film on the glass is peeling off from top of the glass just below the film.
i am surprised to see such issues with Ray Ban glass, i am a regular buyer of Ray Ban glass and not seen such issues in past.
Can you take the issue up and replace the glass as soon as possible. My address is as below,

Spectacle frame design worn out
Hi i would like to get to your notice, , i had purchased rayban fram specs in october 2020, , the design worn out 6 months back... now when i went to store its saying the warranty is over, , but it is showing 2 years warranty online.

Faulty Ray Ban sunglass 4181

I am using this Ray Ban sunglass 4182 for the last two years now. Suddenly I see the upper cover of the front side of the glass/fibre peeling off. (Picture attached)
I spent almost 7500 rupees for this polarized sunglass.

I have Purchase Two sets of Ray Ban in the Month of March at Pallavi Opticals Guntu, I found in one set right Glassed cool cover is going slowly, I bring this to Shop notice on 6th OCT, they said they have to send to Bangalore,
After several times I went to shop and verified weather It came back or not, They are replying different answer every time, today also I went to to shop, they said It came back to here and we send it to Bangalore again thro' Vijayawada office..
I am not aware whom I have to complaint this, They are giving very irresponsible reply, They have taken my Cash Bill on 6th OCT it self..

Sold defective scratched RayBan Sunglasses RB3025 004/58 3P

I have purchased the above mentioned sunglasses on 2nd Nov 2013. Was bit busy so did not notice the glass properly just weared thrice and agreed to purchase from Opto World Opticians, Devaraja Urs Road, Mysore. On 6th Nov while travelling to Ooty tried wearing for the 1st time and noticed the scratches on the glasses and called immediately to the store and spoke to Faraz who asked to bring back the glasses but the person was rude on the call. On 11th Nov visited the store to show the glasses but the Showroom owner and staff claimed that its physical damage done by the customer and can't do anything. Both were rude and stated that they can't help me. Very disappointing for this services by RayBan dealers.

I receieved my glasses but when i checked it one of the glass is damage. So i want to return the product and kindly refund me the amount. Hi I bought Rayban glass at GKB Opticals Near Sony World Signal Bangalore, it is been 1 year and the spring of the frame not working properly so I went to the dealer they said it is out of warranty and they cant fix the frame even . I paid 14000 Rs for the frame and it is a waste now.

Replacement of Three Piece Ray Ban Frame

This is in reference to replace a 3 Piece Ray Ban frame got broken from one side. I have purchased this frame in the month of July 2012. The model Number of that frame is RB6197A 2503 52/17 140 from M/s Optico, 36F, Ashok Nagar, Unit II, Bhubaneswar 09. With in 3 month this frame got broken. I HAVE PURCHASED THE RAY BAN SUNGLASS LAST YEAR, WITH IN A YEAR THE COATING OF THE SUNGLASS COME OUT, I HAVE SUBMITED THE SUNGLASS FOR SERVICING ON 06-APRIL-2011, TO LIFESTYLE INTERNATIONAL STORE, 462, SENAPATI BAPAT MARG, PHOENIX MILLS COMPOUND, LOWER PAREL, MUMBAI -400013,FROM WHERE I HAD PURCHASED THE SAME.
Till date, i.e. on 25/05/11, I have not received a proper response as to whereabouts of my Sunglasses. I have called many times and after rigorous pestering, I was informed on 21/05/11 that the servicing will take another month and half. This is due to the fact any identical model is not available with the company at the time.
I purchased the Rayban sunglasses based on your brand identity and goodwill. If a brand like yours will provide this kind of service to people who shed Rs. 4200/- for a pair of sunglasses, then I will be forced to take the matter in consumer court.
It is my request that you take the matter up with the concerned and show some necessary action. Reciept No. and scanned images of the same are provided herewith.

Never Buy Ray Ban Sunglasses in India
Ray Ban has the most terrible services in India. I have decided never to buy ray ban any more.
I have tried visiting Lawrance Mayo, GKB Opticals, Shoppers Stop and many other authorised dealers but they either deny doing the repairs or say that the repair or Replacement will take minimum 3-6 Months.
There are cases where they are unable to get the item back from company for 9 Months!!! This shows how poor their team is.
This shows that any particular optical showroom or trader is not at fault but it is the COMPANY Luxottica that is at fault.
I shed my hard earned money to buy this product and they are the worst shopping expericence i have.
To add the misery no other products other then their standard aviators are available on time and the delivery time is minimum 3 months.
So if I want sun protection in May they will deliver it to me in August Rain season.
Ray Ban should either have their Indian unit with stocks and services updated or should stop selling in India.

Ray Ban — given for repair not received back
Sir i am satgurdass. i had given my RayBan sun glass Model No R 13, 3214009/70 ( Aviator Blue) for repairing to Khanna Opticians last year on 11/03/2011.They told me it will take 3 months for repairing. After three months i ask them about glass they told me it will take some more time and same thing they are repeating from 15 months. They have not given my repaired or unrepairabed Sun glass back till today. After ask about glass they told me that they will contact the company people and then we will tell.Pl help me out for my RayBan glass. Glass cost was 5000 rupees.

Erosion of Coating on the lens
Sir,
I introduce myself as your old customer probably since a decade. i have been using your glasses since long. Presently, I have been in possesion of your company's product Ray Ban Glasses series RB 3320. I had purchased around one & a half year back. However to my dismay, i have located since last six months that the coating on th glasses is eroding, making it difficulty for the proper vision. Rashes is found on certain part of the lens around 40% on one lens & 20% on the other.
Only recently I contacted the retailer M/S. R. Kumar, Ahmedabad, from whom i purchased the glasses. However, he was unable to give me satisfactory reply for the same.
Now, i fail to understand that though, the RayBan product is internationally acclaimed because of its quality & durability, it failed to give me satisfactory results as a result of such dilution in quality which cannot be regarded as normal wear & tear(such as scraches, lens contacting with some fluids, etc.). Again, it has never happened with me before, so it might be not wrong to presume, that the quality though, said that, has been maintained at all times, i was being held victim or prey for such defective item either by the retailer or otherwise.
I am a regular user of such glasses & also i take proper & due care for its preservance at all times. However, i could not actually believe that though the high range product has been purchased still I have to book a complaint, & that too of removal of coating (as stated by the retailer) from the lens. This is highly impredictable from an institution from where customer satisfaction regarding the quality & durability is given prime importance.
I request you to take up the matter & guide be suitable alternative for such rashes on the lens due to removal of coating, & consequently giving me improper vision.
An early reply is anticipated.

defacted glasses
i had purchased a ray ban sun glasses from m/s new jandil opticians, apsra road gandhi nagar jammu vide bill no1131 dated[protected] amounting to Rs. 4700.00 .after a weeks time some white spots appeared on the lenses and i complaint to the shop keeper for the same . he asked me to leave the sun glasses with him and he will get the sun glasses replaced from the company. then after i started calling him frequently for the same but his reply is always same that he had not got the sunglasses replaced from the company. on 8th of june i went to the shop for the same then the shop keeper gave me the same old sun glasses and said to me when ever he will get the sun glasses from the company, he will call me and replaced the product.
but till date he fooling me with the same reply that he had not got the sun glasses from the company
i think either he sold me the duplicate sun glasses or he don't want to replace the sun glasses

Even I have a pair of ray ban whose frame is ill fitting. I got it tightened twice but it goes loose again. there is no authorised service centre also. I took it to the lawrence and Mayo shop in Visakhapatnam, he refused to look at it saying that he is not obliged to provide me service as I did not buy it from him. This is so unfair and there is nobody to look into this. They are so expensive and it is pinching when there is no service. It's time ray-ban is banned in India. It's a useless company. If I had the wherewithal, i would sue the company.
i have purchased a ray ban sunglasses DATE OF PURCHASE-28/6/11...SKU-3801048...PRICE-RS3490-... BILL NO-9553/03...from shoppers stop...the glasses are having power...i want the company should take some action about it...i want my sunglasses repaired as soon as possible

hinges
i went bought three pair of sunglasses and all weld on hinges of sunglasses separated witch couse the glasses to fall and brake the lens now they need to be replace and hinges as well

dear all,
i bought rayban sunglass no 3146, from amritsar, its glass gettes chipped automatically, i gave the glass to dealer, he got it replaced once, it again happend autmatically,
moreover the quality of gold plating is also very poor. it is also fainted from many areas, earlier one of its spoke also been replaced,
now i have again gave my glasses to dealer wo months back.
please help me and send me some contact details of rayban.

Faulty product
I bought Ray Ban sunglasses from GKB opticals, MG Road Pune. After a few days, the right lens came out of the frame. It thankfully happened when I was not wearing the sunglasses. I took it back to the store, they fixed it and gave back to me. In the past 9 months, the same glass has come out 8 times. I keep complaining to the store and have asked them for a replacement.
They tell me that Ray Ban sales person is not coming to their store and they say that it might take anywhere from 3-4 months. There is no one to take responsibility of a faulty product and help get replacement. When I searched on the net, there is no site where I can voice this to Ray Ban directly. I do not know whom to approach. Someone please suggest.

I bought Ray Ban sunglasses from Optical Trader, Chennai. I am working in night shift and hardly get time to ware sunglasses. I’m using Ray Ban from last 9 yrs, however this is my worse experience, from the first day itself my sunglasses user to make “crik-crik” sound as if some is breaking. It happened many a times when I use to come out of air conditioned room into a direct sun.
One fine day I came back home and cleaned my glasses and put it back in the case, to my surprise when I took out my sunglasses next day the left glass was cracked. I went to the Optical trades and explained him every thing. He took it back and told me that he will talk to the Ray Ban marketing person to replace the sun glasses. He kept the sunglasses for 1mth and after that he told me that I need to pay for the repair, I agree to that as well. However when I got my sunglasses back the same glass came out it self. Once again I returned it back and this time he told me that it would be fixed for ever but again the same glass came out of the frame at time they were showing me the sunglass.
Now its more then five months I'm struggling to get my sunglasses back
Please suggest me what to do now !!!

I bought a Ray-Ban glass for 12000rs/. But I have missed the safety cover unexpectedly while driving. Can anyone suggest me where I can get the safety cover for my glass.

I recently had problems with my 8 months old ray-ban, and the shop did not want to repair. Mailing to luxottica, the owner of the brand is not very helpful as they may answer after 3 weeks.
I am hoping someone will start an anti ray ban luxottica web site, hoping people will read this first.
I will no longer buy any brand from luxottica

few months back i bought ray ban aviator glasses from gkb opticals, , chennai..one day i was surrised to see a crack on one of the lenses, i rushed to gkb for relacement or repair, folks there are not even intend to communicate with ray ban people, they presume and got me agreed that ray ban people take hell lot of time in solving matters..i exlained them even my glasses are in warranty period, i am ready to ay for the reair work..still i am hoeless!!!

I have a singapur model of rayban but my rayban frame broken so i m not getting the proper service center and thier part in india plz suggest me from where i can get that

one day when i went to the store to enquaring about the service as i am also the user of fastrack when i told them that the service with fastrack is very fine and i casually want to know about the service of rayban the shopkeeper show me a gogle which lances were broken and he told me the gogle is with me for last 3month the costomer already paid me up the money but i am feel very shamefull that i am yet to deliver him the thing the representator of the company give escuse every time and now the costomer is also start yeild at me it shows that the service is of very poor quality through nagpur so i wanted to know that if tomorrow i will in a need of a service then weather they will provide me or not secondly i want to know that if somebody wish to complain them about something or want to purchase why not they publisise the email id of their admin or marketing department along with the admin head personal emailid and marketing head personal email id they should not forget they are in service industry and complain through this webside i am not sure what shot of action is going to take place if it will for the batterment of the service then i will be happy as i personaly like the brand and we want the bast service that is the only demand we have.RAHUL SINHA MAJUMDER [protected].

This Chopra(MD Ray Ban) all bhais are ba..stard i am struggling with my gogle for more than 3 month yet it is not repair
i bought ray ban 3025 from delhi ...everything is fine expect when u r in sun the metal frame gets heated up very much ...you cant expect such high quality glasses made without keeping such a simple thing in mind .

Ray Ban has the most terrible services in India. I have decided never to buy ray ban any more.

There are cases where they are unable to get the item back from company for 9 Months!!! This shows how poor their team is.
I shed my hard earned money to buy this product and they are the worst shopping expericence i have.
To add the misery no other products other then their standard aviators are available on time and the delivery time is minimum 3 months.
So if I want sun protection in May they will deliver it to me in August Rain season.
Ray Ban should either have their Indian unit with stocks and services updated or should stop selling in India.
for me it is total BYE BYE to ray ban.

I purchased a Ray-Ban Aviator model no. RB 3025, 0145 / 0025 for Rs. 3000/- from Jaggi Opticians, 6 Sardar Patel Marg, Civil Lines, Allahabad, Tel:[protected], 2425140. On December 8th 2010 I met a road accident due to which my Left Side Lens broke. After recovering from my injury I went to the above mentioned store on 19th January 2011 for new Left side lens he told me that new lens will take a time of 1 to 2 months to be received from the company. After 2 months of time I went back the store but he told that the company representative has not come so he could not get a new lens. Till today on 29.03.2011 my Ray-Ban glass has not been repaired due to worst after sale service from the company side. I also tried to search some direct contact email address or phone number of Ray ban company but could not find. Please help me if somebody is having the email address or phone number of the company. Hi friends, If you guys are ready to get your Ray Ban repaired from overseas check this out. My father bought a Ray Ban 27 years before. Its still in good condition, except the frame had become old. So I thought of fixing it with a new frame. After inquiring about various service centers in India I found that people here replace the original with duplicate lenses. So I checked online and found this website contacted them- sent a email- posed my Ray Ban and got it back fixed. Even though I spent more I am satisfied with the service. Its not much compared to buying a new one.

I purchased a Rayban a month back from a CSD in Shillong. Day before yesterday, it fell from my hands and one glass broke into pieces. Can anyone suggest whether or not I can change one glass in Shillong, Guwahati or Kolkata?
Hi Friend i bought a Ray ban sunglass in Thailand this January 2012 and it has three color glass changing type and from the day i bought it was not fitting properly, the lens will come out while using, and the golden frame color got changed and i went to Optica Trader in spencer plaza he checked the glass and the shop keeper told it can be replaced but you have the purchase bill but don't have the warranty card for this, And he told the shop keeper in Thailand has fooled me and i dont know what to do kindly help me in it.

What is sad is that the lense film all off a sudden just started to wrinkle up...its sad to see a company like rayban has such issues with their sun-glasses even after spending 7000 Rs for a pair of shades.
Would await a response from the company to see what they have to say about their product quality

Ray Ban — broken nose pad
One of my cousin has gifted me the "Ray Ban TITANIUM -RB[protected]" and the glass holding pins were broken. I just want to know, where can i get those pins replaced? Thank you I just took a new Ray Ban aviator and its model is "RB3025" and the aviator that they have given has one lens front and one back.It looks somewhat bent and one side of the lens is touching my eye lashes.Suggest me where I have to get it repaired because that shop which i have taken is closed...
I am wearing Ray ban from last 5 years, but the one which i bought just less than a year spend, the gold coating is rusted. Need a replacement as i remember that the coating has a 1 year of warranty. Help me out of this/

Bought a rayban glass from optic square in Vellore. There are white dots showing up in a black cooling glass. Optic square is blaming me. I feel these guys are selling duplicates. Vellorians beware of optic square.
Bought a new pair of sunglasses from the Ray-Ban web site, $317.00!
4 days later one of the lenses popped out. Went back to the site to start the return process and could get no where with their system. Called several times and could get no help. One of the reps hung up on me! Sent e-mails regarding the problem and got no response from anyone. After 5 days of that BS I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Let's see if I get a response now!

Just purchased a ray-ban glass from dealer @ Chandigarh; v poor service and pathetic attitude of the dealer to handle the customer.
If this is way a ray-ban customer is been treated than nothing can help to get a better respect for any other brand.
At the same time the dealer who behave in this act of occurrence is supposed to be one of the best dealer declared by a Rayban representative. So this brand is here to just sell not to support.
