I bought Ray Ban sunglasses from Lawrence & Mayo opticals, Banashankari, Bangalore. After few weeks, the lens came out of the frame and due to that the edge for the glass got chipped a bit. I have taken the sunglass to the same branch and requested for the replacement of the chipped glass. But they have refused saying that for glass there is no guarantee and after few days they fixed the same glass and handed over to me.
I have requested Lawrence & Mayo a better hard cover for the glass for better protection but they have told me that they do not have any and the lack of good cover is the main reason for these complaints.
But after that the glass has started coming out frequently. Hence I have reduced using this glass. One day when I took out the sunglass from the cover and try to wear it the frame has broken. I have again taken the glass to Lawrence & Mayo requesting for the replacement. But they have confirmed back that they canot decide and the glass has to be sent to the company and they have to confirm. After a week or so they have called back and confirmed the company refused to accept the claim. I requested Lawrence & Mayo to give me the ref. of company person so that I can talk to them but no replay from them.
I am using the Ray-ban glass for the past 16years and I have never has any complaint. My first sunglass I have changed the arm after 15years. I do not know where to launch the complaint and I think this will be the last time I will be using Ray-ban product if this issue is not addressed. Was this information helpful? | 
You can get fake ray ban for 400 Rs only, but quality is cheap and bad. True RAY-BAN can cost up to 8000 Rs. Beware also of fake ray ban on EBAY website. Lawrance & Mayo can also sell fake RAY-BAN, so be extremly careful, because the COPY is difficult to notice !
