[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office Patna India — Delay in preparation & delivery of Passport from Patna Passport office

I AM CHANDRESH KUMAR APPLIED MY PASSPORT BY 22/07/08 HAVING FILE NO:H013063, IN THE STATUS FORMAT SHOWS THAT APP. IS PENDING DUE TO WANT OF POLICE REPORT.BUT MY POLICE REPORT HAS BEEN ALREADY SENT BY 01/10/08 THROUGH POST CHALLAN NO:9812BY THE CITY S.P OFFICE, GURGAON.
SECOND THING IS THAT THE PASSPORT OFFICE IS REFUSING ABOUT THE RECEIVE OF LETTER BY SHOWING THEIR COMPUTER DATA.CHALLAN NO AND DATES OF DESPATCH FOUND AT S.P. OFFICE PROVES THAT LETTER HAS REACHED TO PASSPORT OFFICE BUT OFFICIALS ARE NOT UPDATING THE SYSTEM DATA.
I AM IN DILLEMA. PLEASE HELP ME.

case id PAT a084066.
all formalities have been performed by the cencerned authorities i.e. police verification within a month.
firstly it was shedulded to dispactched by 30-11-08,
but now when ever i check its online status it promt
"It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time"
i am really dispressed by the behaviour of passport office patna.
thereby requesting you to plz have a look on my case, & make clear would i be geting my passport on limited time or not.
or should i withdraw my application.

Presently I am serving in Saudi Arabia. My passport # B042030 is about expire by 27 July 2009
