[Resolved]  Regulate Auto Rickshaw fares — Excess fare by Auto Drivers

Dear Mr. Traffic Commisioner,

I would like to draw you attention towards the auto rickshaws operating throughout Noida & Ghaziabad:
1). None of the autorickshaws have meter, & even if they have they refuse to take the passenger on meter

2). They charge atleast two or three times more fare

People who travel in rickshaws are normally from the middle income group and the rickshaw drivers never think of operating the meters and charge accordingly, so that people would prefer travelling by autorickshaws. But the rickshaw drivers think the other way and try to loot as much as possible by minimum usage of their vehicle and take rest later on. This attitude has to change and the drivers should learn from their counter parts in other states, who prefer to operate meters and charge accordingly making the public use their vehicles for travelling.

This is big issue for everyone moving on the road, taking corrective measure and enforcing the same will bring a huge relief. Please take necessary steps
