[Resolved]  Reliance Cell Phone — Activation of cell phone

I had purchased this cell phone (Classic 206) from the reliance webworld located at sindhuwadi at ghatkopar on sunday 7th June, 2009. the said customer executive had promised me that the number would be activated by Monday (I had submitted a copy of my passport at that time and even verification was done on tuesday. A delay even there if you can see)

I write this complaint on wednesday 10/6/2009 at 12:38 PM with absolutely no hopes of my number being activated.

Whats worse is customer care (*333) does not want to put its head into the matter and they say "The only alternative available to me is to contact the webworld." this despite explaining to them thats what I have been doing and need Reliance's help in getting my phone activated atleast a verbal talk could have been done from their side. I was promised by the call centre that their supervisor would touch base with me by 6:30 pm on wednesday 9/6/2009 (maybe they live in real long hours world).

I believe that this is taking me nowhere. So Jai Ho Reliance and as far as Anil Ambani goes.
