Car Insurance cover Note No[protected] and claim no. [protected] Serious complaint
Dear Sir,
With refrence to above details regarding my wagon R car no DL 9CP 7312 car is lying with world class automobiles pvt. Ltd. Najafgarh road, New Delhi w.e.f. 6.4.2010 and I am being harassed beyond explaination. Today I Came to know from workshop incharge Sh.Hari Om ([protected]) that my car is ready but I may not get it before monday evening i.e.by 19.4.2010 since the entire relience team has left for some TRIP today morning as intimated to Sh Hari om by the surveyer Mr.Gyanendra and that relience is closed for coming three days. With grear difficulty I could get the no. of one S . Officer, Mr.Sachin Singhla, Branch Manager, Pitam Pura, New Delhi (No.[protected]) who assured me that the statement above is not correct and that he will arrange to get me the car today itself. He was then arranged conference call with workshop Mr. Hari Om. Mr. Hari Om then contacted the claim Dept. Sr. Officer, Mr. Sanjay (No.[protected]), but ultimately Mr. hari Om informed that nothing is possible before monday when the surveyor Mr.Gyanendra comes nd settles all the claims and only then i will be able to get my car back in the evening on the 19th.
This is highly unprofessional on the part of the senior employees and officers of reliance general insurance.
So, due to the unavailability of a single person in such a SO CALLED BIG COMPANY, even after giving due feedback to all the possible senior officers, there was not even a single person who could help us out. So this matter appears to be a suitable matter to be reported to the consumer forum and to be published in the newspaper to CAUTION the people before taking any type of insurance with the reliance company.
Daily i had to take a private car spending around Rs. 2000 daily on my conveince even when my car has been fully repaired and ready to be released, but due to RELIANCE GENERAL INSURANCE's UNPROFFESIONAL CONDUCT or NEGLIGENCE... i could not get the same. Ideally this money should be re-imbersed by the company.
Looking for a genuine reply, i hope that i will receive my car soon and proper comunication and explanation should be given to me regarding the negligent conduct

REliance General Insurance - CAR — RELIANCE General Insurance, ref Cover Note No. 108000289265 and Complaint No. 511029
Dear Sir, Dated- 18-Sep-2008With high grievance, I am forced to write to one of the biggest group in the world about my complaint. I now realize that there can be quite a few like me suffering from basic cheating due to ignorance.
It started way back in the month of May-08 that I was followed by lot of agents from different car insurance companies for the renewal of my car insurance wich was due on 6th June-08, I compared everybody’s deal and their attractive offers and gifts and finalized Reliance for my car Insurance.
The deal was very transparent where I mentioned that I had claim with my previous Insurance company for minor repairs. My premium was calculated at Rs.6434, My car is first hand and June-06 model. I was being offered a holiday package and a car polish as token of gift.
I was kept waiting for a long period and my existing insurance expired and finally I was told that since your date is over so we will have to get your vehicle physically examined and it will cost you Rs 300 in cash which I paid and then on 20th or 21st a rep was sent to my residence with a cover note No.[protected] to collect documents and cheque.
I thank God that finally I have got my Insurance done by receiving the policy. To my surprise within a months time I recd a Notice from Reliance that I need to pay more as I had a claim with previous insurer. I was shocked. From that time I have been following with agency, who don’t respond and have even abused me and threatened me for not to call them. I explained this to the Noida Branch people Mr. Darshan Singh and Mr. Amit Singal, but nothing seems to be happening. They kept saying that they will try. I am troubled for zero fault of mine.
Now three days back I recd a second Notice from Reliance that my Car Insurance is Cancelled without my Fault. I also recd a cheque of Rs.3776 on pro-rata basis, I can’t understand the mathematics.
I have registered complaint with Reliance Customer Care under Complaint No. 511029 / 15-Sep08 for Justice, I was being told that Reliance will sort this in 72 Hrs.
Again I am waiting
KINDLY HELP, My car is running without Insurance.
