My car(Indigo) met with an accident. Got damages around 10k. When we filed insurance claim, at that time while giving details of accident to customer care by mistake i gave alias name of my driver( with what we refer in our home). But later we got it corrected at the local RGICL Office (Patna ). But those people (Mr. Alok Kumar, Patna ) were not at all helpful. After 15 days i went to check the status of claim, only after asking they told me that they have not proceeded with our claim due to mismatch in names of driver as given on driving license and what we conveyed to customer care. So we called customer care and got it corrected online. They gave us a request no.[protected] and asked us to write a letter of confirmation( that the name given to customer care and in driving license is same person) to claim department Kolkata (addressed to Abhishek Bhusan , RGICL). Till today i din get any reply, so i called only to find that they have closed my claim!! To my shock they even told me that they sent me three letters of warning , but i never recieved any of them. Now when i called Kolkata office they were not only rude but told me that this claim was never going to be reimbursed and they know it all along. Its some kind pf perjury on their part. Am not only disappointed with the company but the ethics of this company. Its shameful on their part.
