[Resolved]  Riddhi Indane Service — rejection of new connection without giving in writing and indirectly forcing us to buy new Chulha

Sir, this is to inform you that I've shifted from Sant Nagar, East of kailash to hari nagar. Since I've shifed from joint to a nuclear family, So in oprder to to do that we have also purched a international standard Gas Hob and we wanted new gas connection(2 cylinders) also. I've booked a new connection from Riddhi Indane service without chulha with ref no [protected] on 13/08/2010. as per process they visited my house for Hob checking on 27/09/2010, whereas it is mentioned in their booking form that they will inspect with in 7 days latest from the date of payment of inspection charges. Moreover they insted of checking the quality of hob just wanted a ISI mark to approve new co0nnection, whereas my Hob is international standard hob. They did not chek my HOb with any other means and rejected my request for cylinders. Moreover they are not giving me any reason of rejection in writing(which is my right to know). Their visiting inspector also mentioned in his report that a cylinder was found in my house when he visited.

I'm strictly annoyed with his report and with their service coz I'm suffering from Bronchitis and have taken cylinder from my mother for cooking which he mentioned in his report. I need an explanation from them that how can somebody work in these days without cylinder for about 40 days which they take to reject my cylinders request. Riddhi Gas employee told me that it was mentioned in the booking form that u shud not posses any cylinder at the time of inspection. This is riidculous that one shud work with woods or coal to show them that we need cylinders.

I request you to kindly look into the matter as it is URGENT and is about ones basic needs. I also wants a compensation and explanation in writing for the harrasment which they give to sell their cooking range and also for the time they have wasted.

I aslo want to mention here that my mom in law who lives in the same building using the hob of same quality on another floor got her connection shifted from sant nagar to Riddhi Gas service without any safety inspection, which is again SURPRISE. This also shows that either their safety is at risk coz they are using hob and Riddhi Gas service has transferred their connection without any safety inspection. How can they be so extra careful for new connections and so careless about safety of their loyal old consumers?

I have full right to know why they took about 40 days for inspection which period is actually 7 days from the date of payment of inspection charge? What alternate they have given me for the delay and why they are not giving me in writing the reason of rejection? Why are they forcing me indirectly to purchase another cooking range from them in order to get connection. and how they will ensure that i'll use thier SAFE cooking range. why they have not cheked the quality of hob with any eqipment instead of just a lay man visiting my house for simply seeing ISI mark.

Riddhi Indane Service — gas leakage

Today 04-09-09, i have observed gas leakage at 12:30 noon. From that time i am trying to call riddhi but till 5 pm the no was busy. At 5 pm the executive(female) booked my complain. And till now 8 pm no one has came to solve this serious problem.

I don't what is the crieria for choosing the service provider.

I am an existing customer of Ridhi Indane Gas Agency, Hari Nagar. Everytime when I book for a refill, they says that you will get the cyilendar in next 4 - 5 days and I have to fight with them to get the delivery on time. This is my experience with Ridhi Gas Agency since the beginning.

Hope the concerned authority will take action of this gas agency for their poor service quality.
