[Resolved]  RIG CONSTRUCTION COMPANY GHANA — FRAUD APPOINTMENT

have got a mail attached with the appointment letter and the company is RIG GROUPS OF CONSTRUCTION and the have selected me for their project Engineer in ACCRA GHANA and they wanted me to do follow further proceeding as per their guidelines, but my doubt is on two points - first is they did not take my interview and the second is they asked me to apply for visa through ZIP WAY TRAVELS .COM.
PLEASE GUIDE ME IF YOU CAN, THEY HAVE GIVEN ME THE DEADLINE OF 20.10.2010 FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE RELATED FORMALITIES.

I am interested to get job in Ghana can anyone tell me that whats the average salary of experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer (Construction) in Ghana. Right now i am working in Pakistan having 15 years experience.

When i got a mail like this i concernd with a recruiter kindly see below what he answered,

I have looked at the below, and to be honest, I don’t like the look of it. I have never heard of a company telling you to pay for your own papers if they wish to hire you. This is normally taken care of by the company. Another thing, I have never heard of anyone being hired without an interview unless it was for a simple labourer job. As this is clearly not looking at the salary, it makes me uneasy and makes me think this is a money making scheme, where they get you to send money for your papers and then you never hear from them again. My advice would be to do some research on the company, see if you can find a contact number for them, not any of the numbers contained in the email, and then see if any of those people work at the company and speak to them directly about the mail that was sent
