[Resolved] Rto Attapur — No response on application for Refund for Road Tax

I had bought a Toyota Innova vehicle bearing registration number AP-28-AW-5873 in August 2007 in Hyderabad. In November 2009 I moved out of Hyderabad and moved to Delhi. I got the clearance and NOC from Hyderabad RTO and applied for a Delhi registration (DL-3CF-9587). I paid the road tax in Delhi and applied to the Hyderabad RTO for refund of Road Tax in April 2010. The letter was stamped as Received by the Attaput RTO in Hyderabad, however it has now been a year and I have not received my refund. I have sent a number of reminder mails to the RTO officials but there is no response on this subject.

Please Help.

I would request you to file an RTI for reason why it has not been refunded and delayed so much. It works!

Hi,

I have recently completed my re registration in Delhi, and am going to file the road tax refund application in Hyderabad. Do we need to file it to Khairatabad RTO or Attapur RTO ? My car was registered at Attapur but i have heard that Khairatabad is Head office..

I am trying to transfer my car from Bangalore to Hyderabad. I have made all the payments, submitted all the documents etc, done all the formalities that they asked me (made me run around between Kondapur and Attapur atleast 10 times). Nearly 4-5 months have passed, nothing has happened. What should I do? RTI?

I too moved my car AP28DC XXXX from Hyderabad to Bangalore and got the Bangalore registration number and personally went back to Hyderabad and applied to the Hyderabad RTO for refund of Road Tax in May 2017. The letter was stamped as Received by the Attaput RTO in Hyderabad, however it has now been a year and I have not received my refund. I have made a number of reminder calls to the RTO officials but there is no response on this subject. They say it is stuck in central RTO etc. or come in person and check. How can I file an RTI sitting in Bangalore for this issue - please help.
