The state of push back seats in TNSTC express bus running between Ponnamaravathy and Chennai has been very poor. The bus belongs to Kumbhakonam Depot and operates from Ponnamaravathy. The vehicle number is TN-55 N 0479. The push back system of many seats is not all working, in the bargain, the passenger sitting on it could not adjust and it takes inclined position beyond its limits thereby hitting the passenger sitting behind him/her. This situation has been continueing for long and no resposible person seems to have taken notice of the same even after having received the repeated complaint many times made by the passeners as well as the conductors. The driver on 8/8/10 Shri Ravi, Condutor Shri Vasudevan and time keeper Shri Ravi were helpless and ashamed of the situation for having provided such a inconvenient seats to the passengers with respect to the transport company approach to the puplic grievances.
