I also had a bitter experience with Sagar hospital, Jayanagar. My son fell down and had a cut above eyebrows. The doctors insisted to go for plastic surgeon for sutures with General anesthesia(GA), we agreed since it will be difficult to put sutures for a kid without GA . For a day stay and sutures with GA. They charged us 35000/-, while insurance approved only 27, 000/-. I felt this to be exorbitantly high, the surgeon cost or treatment cost was only 15000/- the rest 20, 000/- was charged by hosptial for room, food, medicine etc... Unless there is a regulatory board to conrol this, I don't see these kind of hospitals changing.

I have suffered due to them too. One of the worst hospitals to get treated in.
i can not recommend a star for Sagar hospital...they are cheater...should be put behind the bars...giving less quote at the start...and at the end will charge huge some...so many things will surface only at last for you to make payments for...
Cannibals work here as doctors. You people thing the patients have a personnal Money making machine.. There is a limit for everything. And you have crossed it all in every sense.. Every punishment seems less for you people..

Sagar Hospitals, Bangalore — Poor services
My son had to undergo routine health check as part of his college admission and so he went to Sagar Clinic situated in Banashankari III stage on July 25, 2009. Subsequently, the urine test report issued by the Sagar Clinic showed a ridiculously low Creatinine Clearance value. The duty doctor present in the clinic, instead of verifying the report, advised my son to approach a Nephrologist saying that the low reading was indicative of renal failure.Naturally, he and all o[censored]s at home were disturbed and approached a Nephrologist who immediately found out that the report was wrong. I wonder why Sagar Clinic was so careless in issuing a wrong report to us. On further verification we found that the report was only signed by a technician and not by any qualified doctor.
On account of the negligence of Sagar Clinics, we had to undergo needless hardship, had to incur additional expenses to discover the errors in their test report and lot of mental agony. We brought this lapse to the notice of Medical Director, Vice Chairman and Chairman of Sagar hospitals on August 3, 2009 with a reminder on August 18, 2009 but no one has even bothered to acknowledge our complaint.
This only goes to show that there are no proper processes in place at Sagar Hospitals to perform laboratory tests as well as to attend customer complaints.
