[Resolved]  SBI credit card, India — wrong billing & regular monthly billing continued even after cancellation of card

Dear Sir / Madam,

Ref. : My SBI Credit Card No. [protected]

(1) No solution from SBI for my SBI Card Case ID=[protected] about cheating by ROYAL SUNDARAM
INSURANCE Co. The premium & other charges are debited to my SBI Credit Card which was not clarified at
the time of briefing me about this insurance policy by Royal Sundaram people.
(2) There after In spite of the Credit Card surrendered by me long back by Registered AD letter to SBI Card, I
am getting the monthly statement with increased amount followed by remnider by phone.
(3) I have sent the following request by e-mail on 1st March, 2009 to (a) head.[protected]@ge.com & a copy to (b)
feedback.[protected]@ge.com, which is still un-replied & again I have received another statement of account on
27th March, 2009 with increased amount.

In spite of the Credit Card surrendered by me long back by Registered AD letter, I am getting the monthly statement with increased amount followed by remnider by phone.

This is harassment to me & for that now I shall take legal action against all responsible persons (with a clause for all the expenses for legal actions to you), if I do not get the following latest by 10th March, 2009 :
- Confirmation for cancellation of card.
- A statement of NIL amount.

You are requested to go through the case & please reply me immediately.

sbi credit card, India — bills on closed card with all credits cleared

sbi card no. [protected] (which is of my father-in law)was confirmed inactive with no dues payable vide their mail dated 19.03.2007. But the bill statements with heavy penalties are being sent even now for which they refuse to communicate properly on the help line and causing mental harassment. Please help me.

Please note I have never received any SBI credit card.

However receiving bills & various phone calls (from representative of SBI CREDIT CARD DEOARTMENT) with statement to clear outstanding payment worth approx Rs 20000/-. THey also asked me over phone to pay an amount of Rs 4500/- & they shall issue NOC & payment clearance certificate.

As I do not have any SBI credit card you should appreciate my concern for non paying of the said amount.

Kindly help me to get rid of the problem.

There are several thousands of complaints with the consumers courts and the ombudsman on such problems, this is a typical case of impersonation and some one has stolen you identity and have obtained card or loan on your name. The problem in this is you have to prove that you are not the user and then in turn the bank has to verify and conform the same. This however is not going to happen easily by posting this comment and hoping to get reply. Contact me for more detailed professional help on the same.

sbicard is most risky card to have .they charge anually rs 1000/ +tax as card fees. i was offered a fre card from sbicard after i discontinue the previous card and now every year they add rs 1000/ as card fees(including add on card). most horrible is their customer care. the response of email is too late and 24 hrs customer care can solve any problem.
better i[censored] need credit card may go for citibank or icici bank
