Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria — SCan Prize Award mail

Hello,

I have received one stating that "You have received an award from Shell (SPDC) of 2, 00, 000 GBP and send a return mail with some details (name, address, etc). Next mail says that your application has been processed in Wema Bank, Nigeria by remittence office Philip Mathew. Like that mails after mail coming in and today have received one mail coming from Wema Bank by name ALHAJI OLAPEDE MOHAMMED (DIRECTOR INTERNATIONAL REMITTANCE OFFICE ), asking mfor more information.

We have searched in Wema Bank site and Shell site and it states that they are aware of this scam and encouraged people that we should not produce any security information like bank details and all.

We are scared and thus want to lodge a compliant against this scam. Can someone track these email ids or net address, IP address or router through which these scam mails are coming in ? These people should be behind Bar...

I got a smms frm shell intl drawes.my mobile number won $1000000.is it true?

This is all fraud. First of all those mails are not from banks, because banks won't send mails using normal or general domain names. Just try to contact nigerian ambassy in india or indian ambassy in nigeria regarding this matter. Or else search the official bank websites over the internet, of those banks which are mentioned by those culprits . Even my friend faced the same scenario. I helped him in proving that it was fake. If you wish you can call me regarding this matter. My number is [protected]. please do not deposit any amount of money in the indian banks for obtaining fund release order. Instead give police complaints regarding the their bank accounts in india.

I had received same sms through shell petroleum company of winning price one million dollers on which i dont have faith now by readintg all above complaint, we should stop all this games because some body may play game and miss use our detail & do mischiff with us. Resposible person should take strick action on this

Sir,
I received a SMS on April 26 informing that I have won $3 million USD in a lucky draw conducted by Shell NG mobile awards 2009 Nigeria. My mobile no: is [protected]. They asked to mail my personal details to [protected]@live.com to receive the money. I did reply to them.


Then, I received a email from [protected]@live.com informing that the money is deposited in a temporary account No:[protected] of Access Bank Plc.They asked me to mail the Bank ([protected]@f-mail.net) to get the details of claim. The Bank mailed me the details of claim requirements. Requirements included Proof of Winning, Personal Identity Cards, and Fund Transfer Order(FRO).

[protected]@live.com even sent me a scan copy of certificate of award issued.They told me to contact FSA(Financial Service Authority) to get FRO(Fund Release Order). I did mail to FSA at [protected]@ymail.com. They informed me that I have to Pay a sum of Rs 32, 800(75, 000 Naira) to get the FRO.
