[Resolved]  Shriram Insight Share Brokers Ltd. — NON-GIVING OF CREDIT TO CHEQUE GIVEN

MY CLIENT CODE--T203R30 MY DP ID--[protected]. When I opened my trading a/c. I had given SBI/Srirangam s/b a/c for trading . After that I changed my a/c as Karur Vysya Bank/ Srirangam(a/c no.1276.172.127) by furnishing all necessary documents and I received confirmation letter from my broker to this effect.I am receiving all my dividend warrants through this a/c only.On 06.10.2009 I presented K.V.B.cheque no.479624 for rs.30,000/ for clearing my debit and got G.R. no.1457909/06.10.2009 for this. The cheque was presented to my bank by the broker and my a/c was debited on 09.10.2009 itself. Till date(15.10.2009) credit for Rs.30,000 is not given to my trading a/c and cheque is not shown in my trading a/c. When I took-up the matter with dealer at Jenny Plaza,Trichy 620 001 branch(from where I am trading) she informed me that this K.V.B. a/c is a third party a/c and Ihad to produce pass book detail for updating. I had produced that also and Ihad sent e-mails to [protected]@shriraminsight.com regarding this. Till date I am yet to receive reply from my broker. I think refusing to give credit for a cheque even 5 days after presenting and encashing the same is a serious irregularity on the part of my broker .I humbly request you to kindly look into the matter and help me in getting credit for the amount which I paid through cheque.
