[Resolved] Sir Gangaram Hospital — WORST POSSIBLE SURGERY

I was advised left Hemi-colectomy by renowned Gastro-surgeon Dr Samiran Nundy for constipation. My sigmoid colon and descending colon were redundant and slightly dilated. After surgery I developed pain and when I went to this surgeon he send me for a Barium Enama. The report confirmed a narrowed segement proximal to anastomosis. Dr nundy did not accept his negligence. I went to Dr S K Jain and he advised me a colonoscopy. Colonoscopy confirmed twist of loop causing obstruction at site of anastomosis. Dr Samiran Nundy agreed to operate on me to correct this obstruction. After surgery I developed pain and a doctor suggested me barium enema and a colonoscopy.The doctor and I were shocked to find that there is only 30 cm colon left and in a very twisted, entangled and coiled condition. He had removed almost whole colon for no reason. Now doctors are saying there no treatment for this condition and I have to loose whole colon. It is unbeleivable... as I have also been to Dr. Nandy he is a marv. doctor... there must be some more problems exisiting at the time of operation... that he has decided to cut the big part of colone... Bt it is very sad that u r still in pain... I think blameing someone for your pains should be avoided... I shall pray for u also..

My daughter's appendicitis was successfully operated by him though a doctor at another hospital was swearing that the problem is with the colon (maybe IBS) and my daughter is fine, thanks to Dr Nundy. He is an amazing surgeon. I had gotten Scan and MRI done elsewhere and appendicitis (Chronic) was evident said the radiologist. But this other doctor ignored the child's severe pain. But we then went to SGRH and after Dr Nundy stepped in, touch wood, post-surgery, all is well.

He saved my Father's life in 2006 in Gangaram Hospital. We acme from Nepal. He operated on multiple diverticulitis. In other hand in same Hospital there was a Gastro doctor either it was Gupta or Burma do not remember he saw father's x-ray ultra sound and threw it saying "ab kuch nahee ho sakta" however Dr. Nundy said he will do the surgery and will be fine. And my father recovered. He is a great surgeon with ethics however not every surgery will be the same!

Dr. Nundy is really next to God. He saved my 87 yrs old mother by conducting a successful abdominal surgery, while all other doctors have declared her life to be of maximum 1 week. The miraculous job he has done itself tells about his matchless expertise of the subject. My mother is now recovering fast and returning to normal life of her age. Thanx to Dr. Nundy.

Dr. Nundy, stomach ache to death...
Cant forget that 2 month stay at the hospital..
Such an experienced doctor but unable to recognize the problem till the end..
