In Skillex no employee who has worked for any period what so ever right from the company's inception has got the salary as per offer letter/agreement....nor any employee has received full monthly emoluments for 2 months continuously. The promises of competitive salary made in the offer letter in executive bond paper will remain just in paper and the promises of good career will remain a promise never implemented.
As per the couple’s management policies any employee in skillex becomes eligible even for the fixed part of compensation only at their whims and fancy, without any criteria. For two to three months after joining the new recruit will be asked to work for free or may be a month's quarter portion of salary the remaining will be promised to be paid after the company gets money from somewhere or the company becomes healthy....the situation continues bad for ever ......say after 3 or 6 months if the employee asks his full monthly salary or arrears, the couple asks him/her the question which they have been asking to all previous un paid employees “ What have you done till now for claiming even the fixed part of the salary”.
The unethical practices prevalent in Skillex if needed to be mentioned in detail runs into pages hence a snap shot of the same is given below:
1) Never paid salaries (even fixed part) as agreed in the offer letter.
2) Has not yet paid salaries for 2 months consecutively since inception.
3) Even when some portion of monthly salary ( forget previous arrears ) is paid after no salaries for several months together, the couple deducts unscrupulous amount as Provident Fund contribution which they use up for their own cause with out paying to PF authorities. The PF is deducted from employees but not paid to authorities.
4) Same practice holds for salary-TDS as well, the employee may get some fractional salary after not being paid a penny for several months, but the couple duly deducts hefty TDS ( tax deduction at source at their own mathematics ) from the employee’s part salary but the money they shamelessly use up for their purposes and never pays to tax authorities.
The facts mentioned above are some prominent factors affecting employees directly, but there are some interesting facts which can help the new candidates in understanding this institution better, some of these facts are..
1) Consistent defaulter in paying to all vendors for the services used.
2) The director/s (Mr.Enoch Washington) of the company are said to be willful defaulters in CIBIL list with hefty defaults.
3) Even when the company is on verge of shutdown, the couple makes bombastic salary offers in offer letters and hire credible candidates...there by forcing candidates to face the music.
4) The company has been evading income/sales taxes right from its inception
5) The business line for the company is not clear...sometimes it is a staffing company...sometimes it is an IT company....some other times it is a TELECOM company...sometimes it is a combination of all....the truth is that there are hardly 3 employees in the company in which two employees are the couples themselves...the remaining employees form a part of cycle ....they come in after getting great false offers...do their job for 2 to 3 months ( without a pay) ...resign on knowing the shocking truth...the couple gets out to market to hire new employees to try the luck again.....the cycle continues and have been continuing since 2007.
6) No previous employees....vendors...financiers would have got a fair and ethical deal from the company.
7) the current employee strength in the company may be 3 or 4 of which 2 are directors themselves.
So stay away from their emploment offers.
