What is this?
Why they are sending such sms?!!!

Beware of these fraudulent msgs.

I too got sms stating that u have won 200000GBP i cant understand what to do, if it is an fraud sms then we have to do someyhing, shall we approach consumer court...

Hi friends ... today (25/01/2009) I got the same msg in my vodafone number. The msg is saying " Congrats! You have won GBP 2000, 000.00 in the 2009 (SHELL) INT'L Mobile Draw. To claim your prize E-mail : Mr Steve on:[protected]@yahoo.com"

My doubt about this starts when I saw the email address because when an autority giving a GBP 200K then thay should have their won email server, why they are giving the email address from Yahoo.
Secondly one Indian citizen can't get lucky draw amount which have organised by UK.

Plz beware of this kind of msg.

I have received a SMS from SPDC UK on my mobile on 16/02/2009.

which says that I won a 200, 000.00 GBP in 2008 SPDC (SHELL) INT’L Mobile Draws in UK.

And I was sent my Identity proof details to them for claim the prize.

regarding this can phase any problem?

Such an sms sent accross the country, being a common man, we should raise an red alert agaisnt such international frauds.
