[Resolved]  Ssnnl, Gandhinagar — Wrong deduction of TDS

We have placed Non Cummulative FD with SSNNL as under:

(1) Name: Bindu Vasantkumar Pujara
FDR No. 1124253 Dt.: 16 Jul 09; RoI: 9 %
(2) Name: Nirmit Sumitkumar Pujara
FDR No. 1124260 Dt. 16 Jul 09; RoI: 9 %

We submitted to company duly filled in Form No. 15 G along with copy of PAN in both the above cases in Jul 10 by Courier. PoD is with us.
Then after, we again personally submitted copy of the said documents to their Registrar & Transfer Agent M/s MCS Limited, Ahmedabad and obtained acknowledgement on 16 Aug 10. MCS Limited assured that TDS will not be deducted from interest payable on 30 Sep 10 and 31 Mar 11.
But surprisingly, we received interest warrente and PDC chqs after deducting TDS from due interest.
Pl do the needful in the matter.
