I purchased I-ticket (3 nos) for my journey from Howrah to Durg in 3 Ac by tarin No.2130 (Azad Hind Express). Date of Journey was 21.8.2007. But because of diversion of the train on that day at the last minute, I could not travel in that train and performed my journey by train no.2834 (Ahmedabad Express) with seperate tickets. As per my application, on 23.8.2007 a TDR (No.137095 dated 23.8.2007) was issued to me for refund of money. The same was sent by post To The Chief Commercial Manager (Refunds), South Eastern Railway, !4, Strand Road, 9th Floor, Lolkata-700001 as per the directive given Station Superintendent, Durg Railway Station. STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA — Non-refund of money against cancellation of ticket
Due to diversion of route of train No. 2130 (Azad Hind Express) on 21.8.2007, I had to cancel my I-ticket (AC-3) of Ticket No.[protected]PNR No.[protected] through TDR (No.137095 dated 23.8.2007). The TDR was received from Chief Ticket Inspector, Durg, Chhattisgargh (SECR). The same was sent through registered post to Chief Commercial Manager (Refunds), South Eastern Railway, 14, Strand Road, 9th floor, Kolkata-700-001. Inspite of repeated reminder till after more than 2 years the refund money (Rs.26500 has not been refunded. Through I like to appeal that the Railway of concerned division should take action withoout further delay. Self is ready to donate the interest to the Railway for any national cause.
