Dear Sir,
With reference to the above, I have purchased a SUNFEAST MARIE -147grams - Rs.10/- pocket on 04.02.2010 at 12.30PM this afternoon from one Petty Bunk Shop, Thandalam, Opp. to Empee Distillers, next to MINNI Canteen near Mevalurkuppam, Sriperumpudur Taluk, Chennai - 602105. After that I came to our office, and opened this Biscuit pocket, and served around 4 ~ 5 Biscuits to our subordinates and myself. In a few minutes, I myself my subordinates 3 persons got vomitting, unconciousness and diareaha after intake these biscuits. Then I suspectly just check the Biscuit pocket. I was shocked..? The manufacturing date of this SUNFEAST MARIE - Biscuit packet on 12.05.2009 vide batch No.V03A which this biscuit was already expired over the period of 8 months 23 days.
Regarding this, I have launched a complaint with your customer care centre/Delhi by today 04.02.2010 around 3.15PM and complaint about this expired outdate biscuits with your ITC Limited / Customer Care(No.[protected]) Executive Ms.Gandhimathi. But, She told me to contact again with the retailer of the purchased biscuit to return this biscuit pocket and get the new one. But, is this the way of just change the expired biscuit pocket and get the new one...? As per her guidance, we have met the retailer again by this evening at 3.45pm. for ask him to replace and give the compensation amount for our mental stress due to this intake of expired biscuit. But, the retailer was refused to change the biscuit and he will not responding me for a claim.
In this situation, I have no option and I am forced to launch a complaint against this with Indian consumer forum, as well as ITC Limited for the above issue. In this, your company agent was failed to take back the defective expired from the retailer. But, you people failed to do so. Also, The retailer also not responding will cause the customer get in to ill. Who will compensate for this?. This mistake & Problem was happened to me and my subordinates only for intake this expired sunfeast biscuits. This is 100% purely mistake was done by your company M/S. ITC LIMITED / DELHI and you are fully responsible for Incident. Due to the mental stress and ill feded of my self and my subordinates Your company M/s. ITC Limited should compensate for a sum of Rs.25000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) for this incident. If you are fail to pay this, we will take a legal action against your company for in this regard.
I hope you will understand the seriousness of this issue, and act immediately.
