[Resolved]  SWIFT LXi — poor servicing

I have been using Maruti Care Point, Chaturshringi Road, Pune 411016, owned by Mr Dinkar Shetty, for many years.
I was reminded by them that servicing was due for my Swift- for which I did all 3 free servicings with them- the last being in October 2008) last month( March 2009).I was able to give it today- 7th April 2009.
I was informed today- when I gave it to the workshop( Maruti Care Point) that the car would need to go thru wheel alignment and balancing as the car had run >10000 Km.I agreed.
When I was to take delivery of the vehicle, I noticed from a distance that the car had black stains on the lower part of the body.I walked up to the vehicle and noticed that thee were indeed black marks. i was informed that these were tar stains, I said they looked like grease and proceeded to remove it with my finger.
It was then that the supervisor asked someone to get a cloth and some petrol and proceeded to remove all the black spots( they were there on both sides of the car).
If it was so obvious and could be done so easily, why was it not done in the first place?
Also, when I asked him why the wheel alignment and balancing was not done, he said that it was not done because I had told him not to do it. I gently told him that he was lying! I then left.
On reaching home, I got a call from the same service engineer, stating that the wheel alignment and balancing had been done! I asked him whether I needed to come and pay for it right away and he said no it had been taken care of!! Since when does Maruti do work and not charge for it? And is there no computer-generated record of the process? I have done this before ( Maruti Care Point, in fact has had it done for me since I have been going to them for more than a decade)and have always been given proof of the alignment and balancing work and have been charged separately for the same.
I find it hard to trust Maruti Care Point Service. If they do not do a good job of what is obvious to me ( like cleaning the car!) can I trust them to do what they CLAIM to have done ( changing the oil and doing the various checks that are supposed to be done ) and which is not so obvious to me?
Moreover, I realized( too late) that the 4th( paid) servicing was not due (according to the Owners manual and service record book) for quite some time!! I have done just 11420 KM- less than half the mileage(25000) recommended for the 4th servicing.Why was I badgered with calls to get the servicing done? I smell a rat!

SWIFT LXi — breakdown and starting issue in car which is purchased just 3 month back

i purchased a swift from fair deals Noida on 21st september 2010 and it run 2015 KM only till date. It had a starting issue and accelerate is not working. When i reach the service centre of fair they told that it has problem in sensor and they have cleaned it and now it ok. just after 2 km drive the problem occured agian and they told that they will change sensor and please come after one week as they do not have it right now in the service centre and they do not have space to keep my vehicle for one week. yesterday on 20th dec after week when i was on the way the problme occurred again and reached the service centre by toeing my vehicle which cost me 900 rs . I dont no y i have purchased this car as i m not using it from last 10 days. after spending so much i think its wastage . This is worst kind of service i m receiving. Even today my vehicle is in workshop at jhilmil , shahadra .Well if i dont receive the solution to my problme then in next 2 days i will go to consumer court. my vehicle number is DL 5CF 7967 / CHASSIS NO 598406.
