Dear All,
I am from a low middle class family and our family solely depends on public transport for our daily transportation. Since my place don't have an easy access to travel through Train, I prefer to go by Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus. While I was travelling, at A51, from Anand Theatre to Medavakkam ( in Chennai ), on 19th october 2006, I was sitting diagonally across driver on the ladies seat, suddenly the bus tyre gets bursted above and the metal sheets above the tyre got into my two legs and it was very painful and my two legs kept on increasing in size. The MTC personnel (both the driver and conductor) did not offer any help in taking me to the hospital, only few public has taken an initiative to admit me to the hospital. Later on, I went Operation for one of my leg and spent money from our own pocket. Still now, the case is pending at the MTC court and there is no loyal justification. Was this information helpful? |
