Hi, I have take TataDocomo SIM last tuesday, submitted the documents (Rent agreement and DL) and got it activitated on Wednesday (01-Feb-2012). Today (06-Feb-2012) I got a message saying I have to submit the documents for continuation of services.
FYI, I purchased the SIM in RT nagar area in a mobile vendor shop. My number is [protected].
I want to know why I am asked to resubmit the documents again?
Have the documents not reached the TataDocomo? If so, why should the company not confirm with the vendor whether the documents have been submitted to them or not? Since the company knows from whom the request for Activation of the SIM came, they should first question the vendor why the documents have not been sent to them. The vendor can not say that he did not recieve the docs from customer, because, without docs, he is not supposed to send the request for activation.
So, this issue has to be resolved between the company and vendor. The customer should not be asked time again to submit the documents. After all, every document is a paper and we all have responsibility to save the environment.
